Betty Bird Obituary

"Betty C. Bird, age 75, of Greeneville died Saturday, April 22, 2023 at her home. Ms. Bird was a member of Greeneville First Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend and loved her family dearly. Survivors include her husband of 53 years: Jimmy Bird; their five children: James Paul Bird, Tammy Bird, Rev. Brian and Cindy Bird, Nancy and Michael Gragg, and Jamie Bird; 11 grandchildren: Tylor Bird, Katrina Bird, Thomas and Jenny Bird, Joshua Fellhauer, Caleb and Kayla Fellhauer, Rhys Bird, Karaline and Andrew Osmer, Natasha, Willow and James Cheney, Brandon Gragg, and Miranda Gragg; 13 great grandchildren: Kylie Faith, TJ, Adelynn, Sarah Kay, Grant, Devin, Talan, Cali-grace, Landon, Michael, Greyson, Lillian, and Jon; and her niece: Becky Ann. Ms. Bird is preceded in death by her daughter: Ashley Nicole "Sissy" Bird; her parents: Cecil and Betty Atkins; her mother-in-law: Doris Bird; and a son-in-law: Scott Fellhauer. The Bird family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Monday at Greeneville First Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm Monday at Greeneville First Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Brian Bird and Rev. Larry McElroy will be officiating. Interment will follow at River Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Tylor Bird, Rhys Bird, Brandon Gragg, Caleb Fellhauer, Andrew Osmer, and James Cheney. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Fellhauer and Thomas Bird. "
