Betty Beavers Obituary

Betty J. Beavers, 91, passed away at her home in Evensville, TN, on April 22, 2023. She was a very loving Momma and Granny who will be dearly missed. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lynda Yoder; husband, John C. Beavers; son, Billy Popas; and grandson, Joshua Harwood King. She is survived by her children Lesia (Johnny) Meeks, Linda (Kenny) Walker, Eugene (Priscilla) Shaffner, and David Allen; grandchildren, Gene and Lisa Wilson, Victoria (Billy) McBay, Adam and Brandon Shaffner, Matt (Ashley) Walker, and Patrick (Ashley) Walker; great grandchildren of Shane Clark and Stormie McBay, Ryan, Luke, and Caleb Walker; and several great, great grandkids. A very special thank you to Michael Coeagan, LaKeShia Clark, Shannon Atkins, Tracy and Chaplin Michael Jackson at Amedisys Hospice of Athens, for the wonderful love and care that they gave Momma and to Lisa Meeks and Della Mae Loden for everything you all have done. Funeral service will be held at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Chaplain Michael Jackson officiating on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 3:00 PM with burial to follow at Smyrna Cemetery. The pallbearers will be John John Meeks, Matt Walker, Patrick Walker, Bill McBay, Shane Clark, and Jason Cox. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time.
