Betty Barcomb Obituary

"Betty Jane Neill Barcomb, 83, passed away peacefully Saturday April 22, 2023 at NAMC after a brief illness. Her visitation will be Tuesday, April 25th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. Her memorial service will be Wednesday, April 26th at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Gary Allmond officiating. Burial will follow in Neill Cemetery, Savannah, TN. Mrs. Barcomb was born on September 27, 1939 to Eura Faye Roberts Neill and William Roy Neill in Lutz, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Aaron Troy Allmond. Mrs. Barcomb is survived by her husband, Paul Joseph Barcomb; sisters, Gwenda Brown and Teresa Bessent (George); aunt, Betty "Sister" Davis; her sons, Gary (MaryJo) and Jeffrey Allmond, her step-daughter, Traci Barcomb-Salem, and step-sons, Paul Jr. and Travis Barcomb (Amy); 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Greta. She continued her lifelong passion of sewing and quilting from childhood until the time of her death. She cherished her time on the trips to the various Quilt Shows. Pallbearers will be Gary Allmond, Brandon Bruce, Christopher Allmond, Patrick Allmond, Paul Barcomb, Jr. , and Travis Barcomb. A special thanks to the staff at NAMC, who made her last days as comfortable as possible.
