Betty Adkins Obituary

| | Chatham. . . . . . Betty Moore Adkins, age 76 of Chatham, died Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. Born May 28, 1946 in Pittsylvania County, she was a daughter of the late Raleigh Pete Moore and Margie Hedrick Moore. She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Adkins; one brother, Ricky Moore; and one sister, Nancy Hollingsworth. Mrs. Adkins was a member of Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church and she was a home maker. She loved reading her Bible, going to church and talking to her friends on the phone. She is survived by one brother, Billy Moore and wife, Margaret of Chatham; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 5:00 p. m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church by Pastor Thomas Lee. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 4 to 5:00 p. m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
