Today, her work still sticks to the walls of nearly every house and business in Litchfield County. Realizing the kids of Litchfield needed something to do at the Little League field, Helen started selling hot dogs out of the big white truck- it became known that when the white truck pulled in, Little Leaguers started running. She brought her truck to the Litchfield Road Race, year after year, and continued to sell delights until the truck was no more. To top it all off, Helen also joined the Marvelous Mothers Field Hockey team as goalie. She never failed to reassure all who listened that those moms were always victorious for years.
