"A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mary Macaria Williams at 10:00 a. m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Craig Scott officiating and under the direction of John Kramer \u0026amp; Son Funeral Home. Interment will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 5:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p. m. , led by Deacon Les Glankler Visitation will resume on Wednesday, from 8:30 a. m. until 9:30 a. m. Mary Macaria Williams, 75, of Ball, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Joseph and Eloise Emma Lemoine Mayeux, Sr. ; one sister, Amy Marie Mayeux Masters; one brother, Samuel Joseph Mayeux, Jr. and her husband, Oscar Earl Williams. Born and raised in Alexandria, Macaria was the fifth of 8 children. She graduated from Providence High School and received an associate's degree from Northwestern State University (Natchitoches). Soon after she began what would be a 50 year career at the United States Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency, retiring in 2018. Macaria spent her remaining years caring for and loving on her grand and great grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Cathy Coplin (Erik), Charles Williams (Suzanne), and Cari Terracina (Dustin); grandchildren, Samantha Carter, Sarah Ray (Shawn Ray, Jr. ), Sam Terracina, Emily Terracina, Carmella Terracina, Faith Terracina, Hannah Terracina, Kiley Coplin and Kellen Coplin; great grandchildren, Haylee McKinney, Michael Ray, Carter Ray, Luke Oscar Ray; her sisters, Patricia Deglandon (Rodney), Rita Anne Mayeux and Charlene Lyles; brothers, Paul Mayeux (Wanda) and Jude Mayeux, Sr. (Debbie); Goddaughter, Miriam Adams; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Honorary pallbearers will be, Charles Williams, Dustin Terracina, Sam Terracina, Todd Deglandon, Michael Lyles, Scott Beeson, Carter Ray, Luke Oscar Ray, Mikey Ray, Chad Bostick, Gabriel Adams, Joseph Adams, Benjamin Adams and Daniel Adams.
