Lenoir-Bertie Olivia Harvey Curtis, 83 of Lenoir, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Levine and Dixon Hospice House in Charlotte. Mrs. Curtis was the daughter of the late Jesse Harvey and Myrtle Spiers Harvey, born in Caldwell County on November 2, 1935. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family. In addition, she was a very accomplished artist. She did many paintings, and completed wonderful portraits for many families. She was also a seamstress and very creatively gifted. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Ambrose Curtis and four siblings. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Curtis and companion, Lisa Reed of Lenoir, daughter, Teresa G. Curtis of Charlotte and companion Tony Brakefield of Lenoir, granddaughter; Olivia Curtis of Lenoir and great grandson, Grant Curtis of Lenoir, and a sister, Nita Jo Gauthier of Byromville, GA.
