Benny P. Morelli, 90 years old, of Union Grove, WI, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 5, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 6, 1933, in his home in Paris Township, WI. He was the son of the late Eugene and Julia (Vena) Morelli. On January 28, 1956, he was united in marriage to Marlene Schattner at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Benny was employed by AMC/Chrysler until his retirement in 1989. After his retirement he worked for CPI as a delivery driver and enjoyed his interactions with the farmers when making deliveries. He also spent many years working on the family farm. He was a member of the UAW Local 72, and a lifetime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where he served as a lay minister and usher for many years. Benny was a collector of toy tractors. He enjoyed working in his workshop, listening and dancing to Polka music; and playing the game "India" with his wife and friends. Benny truly loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them at the many get-togethers through the years. He always opened his home with genuine hospitality. He will be remembered as a kind, good-hearted man, willing to help others. He is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Marlene Morelli; his four children, Mary Morelli, Dolores Morelli, Debbie (Allen) Dawson, and Benjie Morelli, all of Union Grove, WI; one granddaughter, Cassandra Dawson; two great-grandchildren, Ensley and Elliana Davel; and siblings, Eva Schattner and Ralph Morelli, Sr. ; sister-in-law, Charlotte Bruinsma and brother-in-law, Thomas (Denise) Barker. Benny was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Catherine Morelli; sister-in-law, Rose Barker; brothers-in-law, Earl Bruinsma and William Schattner, Jr. ; and his father and mothers-in-law, William Schattner Sr. , Mary Schattner, and Sally Schattner. The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Durbin, Dr. Michael Mullane and Dr. Pankaj Dhingra, along with Hospice Alliance and all the family and friends who offered their support and prayers during this difficult time. Jeffery C. Radewan, 58, who was a longtime resident of Rochester, WI, for over 50 years, formerly of Union Grove, WI, passed away on June 24th, 2023 at St. Lukes in Milwaukee, WI, after a non life threatening dental procedure. He will be deeply missed by many friends and family. Jeff was born on September 15th, 1964, In Racine, WI, to his mother, Fawna Faye Nimmo and James Radewan. Jeff was a remarkable man, he started driving truck at 18 years old and in a few short years he started his own company; Jeff Radewan Trucking, which he owned and operated. Jeff had many talents and truly was a Jack of all Trades. With Jeff's superb abilities, there wasn't much he couldn't fix, build, weld or fabricate. Jeff designed and built many trailers, as well as many specialized equipment. Jeff even redesigned a piece of equipment used by the Railroad to mow around and maintain the rails. Jeff not only built the house that he and his fiance Rebecca lived in but also built a house for his daughter Jacki. No project was ever too challenging for him. Jeff was always there to help his family and friends. Jeff loved to go to auctions, he was the best at wheeling and dealing a sale. Jeffery was also an amazing storyteller and could embellish on numerous stories from his past. Besides hanging out with his many friends Jeff loved to spend time with his fiance and their 2 dogs, Otis and Harley. Jeff is survived by his Fiance, friend and partner of 17 years, Rebecca Rauterberg; father, James Radewan; daughter, Jacqueline (Katie) Radewan; brothers, Joseph Radewan and James (Sandi) Radewan. Jeff is further survived by extended family and numerous friends. Jeff is preceded in death by his loving mother, Fawna Faye Nimmo and his Grandparents. Joseph "Joe" Steller, 94, of Union Grove, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at AccentCare Hospice in Oak Creek Wi. Joseph was born into the small farming community of Bonnua Poszta, Hungary on November 21, 1927, to parents Joseph and Coraline (Petz) Steller (Deceased). After working the family farm, living through the devastation of World War II, and Russian collectivization of the farm, Joe made his way to West Germany with his stepbrother, John Ellenberger. There, they worked various jobs rebuilding western Europe after the war. From West Germany, Joe and his stepbrother were able to emigrate to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1952. Joe obtained employment at Harnischfeger Heavy Equipment manufacturing as a welder. In 1953, Joseph met Anna Wink at a German community social event. They were married in 1955 and happily celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in October 2021. In 1989, Joe retired and spent his time gardening, hiking, spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, home improvement, and tinkering on anything that appeared to be broken. He loved to keep busy, meet new people, and tell stories about the "old" country and the good old days. Joseph was predeceased by his father, Joseph, Mother, Caroline, stepmother Elisabeth (Ellenberger), and stepbrother, John Ellenberger. Joseph is survived by his wife, Anna and their three children, Gary Steller (wife Jeanne and grandchildren Darren, Janelle, Brenna), Bob Steller (wife Jeanne and grandchildren Rachael, Alex, Zachary), and daughter Carol (and her husband Dr. David Gorsuch and grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlyn, Haley, Amanda, Brandon, Justin) as well as Joseph's sisters Caroline (Muth), Eva (Toth), and Katie (Dunn) as well as many nieces and nephews. Joan Lorenz, 83, of Union Grove, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at her home. Born on August 23, 1938, in Marinette, WI, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Terlep) Todzy. She lived in Kenosha County her entire life. On May 16, 1958, she married Chester Lorenz in Waukegan, IL. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2013. Joan enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, baking, sewing, feeding the birds, and gardening. Her family will always remember her beautiful flowers and her huge tomato garden. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her four children, Jeffrey (Leslie Emery) Lorenz of Winthrop Harbor, IL, Steven (Vicki) Lorenz of Union Grove, WI, Cynthia (Fred Zavodnik) Ingram-Zavodnik of Racine, WI, and Bradley (Melissa Makal) Lorenz of Kenosha, WI; ten grandchildren, Kevin, Kelly, Zachary, Ava, Brice, Brittany, Austin, Jacob, Nickolas, and Hannah; three great grandchildren, Emma, Stevie, and Charlotte; and her stepdaughter, Donna Sophia. She is further survived by other loving family and friends. Joan was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Lorenz; five brothers, and three sisters. Robert A. "Bob" Schoening age 80 Bob peacefully entered the kingdom of Heaven at home next to the glow of the Christmas tree on Monday, December 23, 2019. Bob was born December 5, 1939 to Adolph and Lydia (nee Schmunk) Schoening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His early life was spent in Milwaukee where he graduated from North Division High School. On October 11, 1987 he was united in marriage to Rose Mary Nau at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Waterford, WI. He was employed at Sentry Foods for over 45 years working in the produce department. Bob and Rose owned and operated "R" Place Tavern in Waterford for 7 years. After retiring from Sentry Foods, he worked part-time for the State of Wisconsin Dept of Veterans Affairs transporting veterans. Bob also proudly served as a member of the National Guard and the Army Reserve. Bob was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the WI Tavern League. His other interests included The Moose Lodge, Lion's Club, a founding member of the Kiwanis Club and United Doubles Kiwanis Club of Union Grove. He was an avid bowler and a blood donor giving over 80 pints of blood. When his boys were younger, Bob was involved with Boy Scout Pack #132 and coached Wind Lake Little League. Bob is survived by his loving wife Rose, children: Dr. James (Karen) Kemmerling, David (Cheryl) Schoening and Beth (Chris Miskowski) Schoening; stepchildren: Kristie Nau, Kathie (Bill) Krause, Darlene (Dave) Van Swol and Dean (Janice) Nau; 16 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters Shirley Warber and Pam (David) Blaho, many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Donald Schoening. The family has suggested memorials be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or the Tavern League of Wisconsin Racine County. Debra Ann Meredik-Holm, age 64, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Waco, Texas on April 13, 1955, daughter of Colby and Marcia (nee Neal) Moody. She lived in many different areas before settling in Streamwood, Illinois. On July 17, 1999 in Salem, Wisconsin, she was united in marriage to Dennis Holm. They continued to reside in Salem following their marriage. Debra was a salesperson for All Seals & Hose in Milwaukee. She enjoyed attending landlord meetings where she gathered with friends, her pets, traveling, fishing, antiquing, gambling and spending time at the beach. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Debra is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Carrie (Stuart) Lawry, Janet (Jerry) Gedwill, Laura Meredik, Deanna (Robert) Vlach and Dennis Wayne Holm; grandchildren, Austin, Hudson, Thomas, Andrew, Katherine, Nicholas, Jake, Ann-Marie, Bobby, Brianna and Collin; great-grandchild, Brycen; and sister, Linda (Bill) Payne. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Tom Meredik and son, Donald Holm. Edward "Mick" A. McNamara Age 78, of Kansasville passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Home. He was born April 19, 1941 to Edward and Gertrude (nee Prinsen) McNamara in Racine, Wisconsin. He was a lifelong resident of Eagle Lake. He spent many years helping his family with McNamara's Eagle Lake Resort. He attended Pleasant Lawn Grade School then graduated from St. Mary's High School. Following high school, he served his country in Vietnam. He was a member of the Army Rangers with The Big Red 1. On September 19, 1985 he was united in marriage to Judith McDonnell in Glen Ellyn, IL. Following their marriage, they resided in Eagle Lake- Kansasville, WI. Mick was employed by We Energies as a forester. Mick loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, boating, gardening and splitting wood. He was very active and played hockey up till his 60's, he also enjoyed traveling. Mick was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. Mick is survived by his wife Judi, children: Shawn (Rachel) McNamara and Carrie (Todd) Wilks, grandchildren: T.J. and Abby Wilks and Kylee And Connor McNamara.
