Benjamin Paul Delaney, 30, of Suffolk, Va. died on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was born on July 24, 1991, to Thomas Patrick Delaney, Sr. and Jennifer Lee Adams Delaney. Benjamin was an avid gamer and computer genius. He enjoyed all genres of music and was a genuine and loving soul. He unknowingly left a mark on everyone he met because of his pure heart. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need, whether they asked for help or not. He will be greatly missed. Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Thomas and Jennifer Delaney; brothers, Matthew Adams and Jacob Delaney; Sister, Mary Delaney, all of Suffolk; maternal grandfather, Terry Adams of Chesapeake; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Patrick Delaney, Jr. ; maternal grandmothers, Mary Adams and Mary Ann Adams; paternal grandparents, Daniel and Betty Delaney of Norfolk, and Woodrow and Grace Stanley of Chesapeake. A Celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, June 28 at R. W. Baker Funeral Home and Crematory, Downtown Chapel, 509 West Washington St. Suffolk, Va.
