John Henry Marzulli, AKA Johnny Nines, Daddy Nines, Grandpa Nines, age 75, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2023 after an adverse reaction to an outpatient medical procedure. John was born on November 13, 1948 to June (Hickey) and Pascal (Pat) Marzulli in Morristown, New Jersey and moved to Largo, Florida at the age of five. After graduating from Largo High School in 1966. John went on to study business at Florida State University - Go Noles! John is survived by his twin brother Pat (Martine) Marzulli (Indian Rocks Beach, FL), daughters Melody (Bryan) Ott (St. Augustine, FL), Kimberly (John) Breitling (Excelsior, MN) and his six adoring grandchildren Dillon Ott, Cody Ott, Abigail Ott, Sydney Breitling, Evan Breitling, and Emily Breitling. John was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and those he loved, even the stray cat he fed every day. John's family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something John often mentioned and showed through his attendance at countless sporting events, family holidays, and family trips. He was even willing to brave the freezing Minnesota winter to be with Kimberly and her family or head to Colorado with Melody's family on a ski trip - and John didn't love the cold or skiing! There wasn't much he wouldn't do for his family. John was passionate about fitness and martial arts and could often be found at one of the many gyms he belonged to when he wasn't at home. When he was visiting his daughters, a workout was always part of the tradition and a few boxing lessons with his grandchildren were often on the list of family activities too. In addition to his passion for family, friends, and fitness, John had an equal passion for his work. He treated Emerald Contractors like one of his children and he loved it dearly. He made it his mission to provide high quality home building and remodeling to his customers. He valued hard work, cared for each of his employees like they were family, and made a difference in the lives of those he worked with and for. John may have been small in stature, but he lived big, felt big and loved like a giant. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten. The family requests donations to the Paralyzed Veterans of America Gulf Coast Chapter in leu of flowers. There will be a joyful celebration of life on December 22, 2023, details will be forthcoming.Show more
