Barry Krug, 64, of Ebensburg R D , died October 7, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with ALS He was born December 29, 1958, in Spangler, son of Patrick and Jean Ann (Adams) Krug Preceded in death by his father on February 3, 2023 Survived by his mother of Loretto, R D , his loving wife of 42 years, the former Cathy Weiland, whom he married October 3, 1981, in Loretto, children: Chad (Joan Bender) of Loretto R D , and Kelly (Shawn) Cole of Ebensburg, 4 grandchildren: Logan, Zac, Gavin, and Grant, a brother, Greg (Christine Barry) Krug of Big Timber, MT Also survived by an aunt, an uncle, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law Barry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, and fishing He had owned and operated C&K Powder Coating, and had worked for Pennstress for a number of years Member of Chest Springs Sportsmens Club and the Basilica of St Michael, Loretto, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Very Rev John D Byrnes and Rev Justin Treon concelebrants Committal, St Michael Cemetery, Loretto Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Tuesday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St Ashville, PA 16613, where a Vigil Service will be held Tuesday In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Basilica of St Michael in Barry's memory www gibbonsfhashvillecoalport com To to the family or in memory of Barry Krug, please
