Barbara Rose Autry Staiger, age 83, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on June 16, 1940 in Akron, Ohio. She was the loving daughter of the late Marvin Edward and Clara Rosina Frey Vogel Autry. She lived most of her life in Southern California. In California, Barbara worked for Robert's Retail Store. In 1990 she was united in marriage to Edwin Staiger in Fairborne, Ohio and they shared many happy years together unitl his death in 2012. After the passing of her husband, she moved to Jefferson County, Indiana to be closer to her daughter Lorrie. She was a member of North Madison Christian Church. Barbara died on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 2:15 p. m. at The Water's of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Barbara will be missed by her loving daughters, Lorrie Willhoite of Madison, Indiana, Sheila Berry Lomske of Williamsburg, Ohio, Lisa Germano and her husband Al of Rochester, New York; her son, Randy Miller and his wife Melissa of Mason, Ohio; her sister, Judy Wright and her husband Walter of Chicago, Illinois; her grandchildren, David, Jamen, Candace, Steven, Jennifer, Sandra, and Megan; and other relatives. She was preceded in death by husband, Edwin Straiger, father, Marvin Edward Autry, mother, Clara Rosina Frey Vogel Autry, and her son in law, Rick Willhoite, died April 20, 2021. FUNERAL CEREMONY Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 6:00 p. m. , by Bro. Bob Hicks at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow at a later date at the Fairmount Cemetery in Madison, Indiana. Mrs. Judith "Judy" Christine Arnold Kemp age 76, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on March 25, 1947 in Orlando, Florida. She was the loving daughter of the late Ed Arnold and Esther Helen Barrow Arnold Parker. She spent her early life in Florida and then the family moved to Madison and she graduated in 1965 from Madison Consolidated High School. She later attended Sullivan University and received her associate degree. On November 6, 1965, Judy was united in marriage to Paul Ray Kemp in Vevay, Indiana. This happy union of 58 years was blessed with a daughter, Stephanie Leigh, and sons, Christopher Paul and Nicholas Todd. She worked for two years with Grote Industries in Madison and then 35 years with the U. S. Shoe Corporation. She served as office manager for Madison Gymnastics World in Madison for 35 years. Judy was a judge for 35 years with the National Association of Women's Gymnastics Judges for the State of Indiana. She currently was the nations longest standing judge. Judy was a member of the First Baptist Church in downtown Madison and attended the New Providence Baptist Church as well. She had served as an international judge and national judge. She was also a member of the USA Gymnastics Professional Association. Judy enjoyed gardening, canning, being with her children, grandchildren and judging gymnastics. Judy died on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 2:25 p. m. at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. A LOVING FAMILY Judy will be missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Paul Ray Kemp of Madison, Indiana; her daughter, Stephanie Leigh Kemp Binzer and her husband, Chip of Scottsburg, Indiana; her sons, Christopher Paul Kemp and his companion, Louise Harpole of Brooksburg, Indiana, Nicholas Todd Kemp of West Palm Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Aiden Parker Kemp Binzer, Maya Elizabeth Kemp, Zachary Paul Kemp; her step grandsons, Matthew Robert Binzer and his wife, Bailee, and Jacob Robert Binzer; her step brother, Dr. Gary Parker of Florida; her brothers in law and sisters in laws, Thomas Edwin Kemp and his wife, Carolyn of Lexington, Indiana, Marcia Eliane Kemp Cranfield Brandenburg of Crestview Hills, Kentucky, Linda Kemp of Monticello, Arkansas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Arnold, her mother, Esther Helen Barrow Arnold Parker, died June 24, 2006, her step father, Dr. Harold Eugene Parker, died March 26, 1977, and her step brother, Michael Parker. Mrs. Rose Anne Giltner Gaylord Kidwell, age 71, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on January 14, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Dallas Edward and Mary Lena Jump Giltner. She spent her early life in Madison and then later in Valparaiso where she graduated high school. On January 21, 1972 she was united in marriage to Kenneth F. Gaylord in Hanover, Indiana. This union was blessed with a son, Charles Edward and a daughter, Angela. She worked early in life for the U. S. Shoe Corporation, the Main Grill, Meese Orbitron Dunn and the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion. She enjoyed sewing, baking, quilting, watching Old Westerns and LifeTime movies, and reading. She was last married to Hurley A. Kidwell and he died March 24, 2013. Rose was a member of the Major Samuel Woodfill Post No. 9 of the American Legion Auxiliary. Rose died on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 11:00 p. m. at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. Mr. Robert Allen Rucker, age 59, of Madison and formerly of Hayfork, California, entered this life on May 28, 1964 in Alexandria, Virginia. He was the son of the late Roy Lee and Frances Alberta Wagner Rucker. He was raised in Hayfork and graduated high school there. He had worked as a timber faller for Lenny Hale in Hayfork, California. He had just moved to Madison and was working as a Amish van driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gold panning. Robert died of injuries suffered on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 9:27 p. m. in an auto accident on Clifty Drive in Madison, Indiana. Pamela Sue Webster, age 69, of Bedford, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. She was born November 11, 1953 in Milton, Kentucky, the daughter of Charles and Elva Crafton Brown. Mrs. Webster was a 1974 graduate of Trimble County High School in Bedford, and a clerk at the Midway Stop N Go in Bedford, working primarily in the deli. She was a member of Corn Creek Baptist Church, Milton. She was strong in her faith, loved her family and gave of her time with the Trimble County Project Prom, Milton Fish Fry, and Girls Scouts with her daughter. Her surviving family includes one daughter, Katrina McWhorter of Bedford; two sisters: Eula Severn of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Roberta Eldridge of Vine Grove, Kentucky; one brother and sister-in-law: David and Pamela Brown of Lexington, Indiana; and two grandchildren: Jaden and Raya McWhorter, both of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael L. Webster on July 21, 2023, and to whom she was married on July 28, 1979; one sister, Charlene Stockdale; and four brothers: Shirley, Jimmy, Layne and Delbert Brown. Mr. Donald Lee Sargent, age 74, of Milton, Kentucky, entered this life on July 20, 1949 on King's Ridge in Trimble County, Kentucky. He was the loving son of the late Charles Tillman and Margaret I. Schmidt Sargent. He was raised in Trimble County residing there all of his life. He graduated high school from Trimble County High School. He was inducted into the United States Army on October 27, 1970 in Louisville, Kentucky. He rose to the rate of Specialist Four serving in Battery A. 2nd Battalion 138th Field Artillery during the Vietnam Era. He was honorably discharged on May 11, 1971 at Fort Benning, Georgia and transferred to the Reserves and was discharged on May 4, 1976 receiving the Kentucky State Active Duty Ribbon with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal. On January 18, 1969, Donald was united in marriage to Barbara Carol Wright at the Milton Baptist Church in Milton, Kentucky. This happy union of 50 years was blessed with a son, Brandon Lee. He was a faithful member of the Mt. Tabor Wesleyan Holiness Church in Trimble County, Kentucky. Donald was a collector of things such as clocks, GM cars, Corvettes and loved Cadillac's, and truly enjoyed his property. He enjoyed socializing with people and truly never met a stranger. Donald worked for the State of Kentucky as a diesel mechanic for over twenty years. He was also the owner of Persimmon Hill Towing Company for many years. He loved his dog, Gracie Lynn and the companionship over the years. He was bestowed the honor of Kentucky Colonel and was extremely proud of that accomplishment. Donald died on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 12:39 a. m. at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana.
