On June 16, 2022, Barbara (81) answered her creators call and entered into the heavens. She was born and raised in Turlock, California. After graduating from Turlock High School, she attended Modesto Junior College, transferred to Sacramento State, and finished her degree and received her teaching credential from Stanislaus State University. She married the love of her life, Manual Relva, in 1962 where they made their home in Modesto. In 1962, Barbara accepted a teaching position with Stanislaus Union School District where she taught at various elementary schools until retiring 39 years later. During her tenure, Barbara was very active in the Teachers Union. Upon retiring, Barbara and Manuel traveled the world and enjoyed road tripping in their Motorhome throughout the U. S. She was a proud member of the Our Lady of Fatima Church, Free-N-Easy RV Club, Knights Ladies, Catholic Daughters, Elks, Fatima Seniors, and dedicated time at Central Catholic High School.
