Barbara Phelps Obituary

Barbara Ann Phelps, 53, of Fairdale, Kentucky, passed away surrounded by family, on May 6, 2023. Barbara was born on August 4, 1969, in Jefferson, KY, to the late Russell V. Conley and Barbara Elizabeth (Knowland) Conley. She graduated Fairdale High School in 1988. Barbara was employed for many years with General Electric Company in Louisville, KY as a Line Worker. She was also employed as a Daycare worker for a Teenage Parenting Program in Fairdale, and a Line Cook at Hardees. Barbara was an avid member of the Louisville Poker Tour and was a genuine true blue Kentucky Wildcat fan through and through. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Barbara Conley. Left to carry on her memory, her beloved partner and best friend Anthony Chambers, many extended family and friends. She is dearly loved and deeply missed. A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home, 411 Fairdale Road, Fairdale, KY 40118.
