Barbara Ruth (Pyrdom) Norris of Martin, TN, formerly of Lewisburg, TN passed away peacefully on September 11, 2023. She was 83 years old. She was born in Shelbyville, TN on October 16, 1939, to the late Lyndon Adkins Shaw, Horace Shaw Jr. (stepfather), and William Hopwood Pyrdom. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Russell Norris. Barbara was a wonderful wife and mother who was always there when her family needed her. She was a retired country music publisher and author of children's books. She was a life-long Methodist and a woman of great faith who loved family, friends, and community. She leaves behind three children Steven (Elizabeth) Russell Norris of Hopkinsville, KY; Stephany Norris Robinson of Martin, TN; James (Tabitha) Scott Norris of Martin, TN; seven grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 13, 2023, at Sunset Cemetery at 11:00am. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. To plant Memorial Trees in memory of , please .

Edward "Eddie" Eugene Bowles, beloved husband, and devoted family man, passed away on November 26, 2023, at the age of 59. He was born on December 1, 1963, in Pontiac, Michigan. Visitation for Eddie will be Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the chapel of Bills-McGaugh and Hamilton Funeral Home. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margie Farley Hatfield and a son, JJ Contreras. He is survived by his wife, Laura Bowles; his father, Raymond Bowles; his children, David Bowles, Daniel Bowles, Michelle Bowles, Robert Major, Joshua Shuck, Amber Langworthy, LeeAnn Brawner, Casey Jo (Preston) Duren; brother, Danny (Bernice) Bowles; grandchildren, Amari, Amani, Leelann, Lailoni, Aspen, Nathan, Mathew, Dean, Kalee, Madison, Darrin, Joshua, Jordan, Ethan, Camden, Steven, Chad, Kadince, Kohl, Rylee, and Preston; nephews, Braelynn and Hayden; and nieces, Erica, Danielle and Meagan. Eddie, lovingly known as "Weird" to those close to him, will be remembered as a happy-go-lucky individual. His infectious laughter and warm smile brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Eddie was an active member of the community. He was a proud member of the Moose Club, where he found camaraderie and a sense of belonging. Additionally, his dedication to serving others led him to become a member of the Sons of Legion and the UAW. Eddie had a zest for life and a passion for his hobbies. He could often be found singing his heart out at karaoke nights. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, finding solace and tranquility in nature's embrace. Sports held a special place in Eddie's heart, and he was an enthusiastic fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and has been a fan of the Oakland Raiders since day one. Regardless of the team's performance, his unwavering support remained steadfast throughout the years. While Eddie's interests and accomplishments were diverse, his greatest love was his family. He cherished every moment spent with them. Edward "Eddie" Eugene Bowles will forever be remembered as a beacon of light and love in the lives of all who knew him. Sally Marie Williams Curtis, a beloved mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, at the age of 91. Born on May 8, 1932, to William David and Lucindy Ashford Williams. Sally lived a full and vibrant life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 12:00 PM and continue until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM with burial following at Round Hill Cemetery. Sally is preceded by her husbands; Joe McCool and Howard Curtis, parents; her brothers; Jim Williams, Houston Williams, Virgil Williams; her sisters, Rosie Thomason, Nancy King, Edna Mae Cheeves, Polly Johnson, and Lottie Crabtree; and grandson, Wayne Curtis. She is survived by her son, Joe David McCool; daughters, Judy Wilson and Michelle Chavira Tharpe and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Known for her outgoing personality and spunky nature, Sally possessed an infectious zest for life. Her presence would light up any room she entered, filling it with laughter and joy. Her family was at the center of Sally's world, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She could be found many times reading her Bible and conversing with her heavenly Father. Sally had a variety of interests that brought her tremendous happiness. She had an affinity for classic television shows, particularly the Rifleman, Three Stooges, and keeping up with the latest news. Television provided her with countless hours of entertainment and served as a window into the world beyond her own. Born into humble beginnings, Sally experienced the hardships of her time, including picking cotton as a child. These experiences shaped her into a strong, resilient individual, always appreciative of life's simple blessings. Sally dedicated herself to caring for others as a nurse aide at Gordon's hospital, touching the lives of countless patients with her warmth and compassion. Later in life, she embarked on a new adventure and ran her own daycare, bringing laughter and kindness into the lives of the children she nurtured. Sally will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Her memory will forever be cherished, her laughter forever echoing in the hearts of those who loved her. Wanda Duckworth Sullivan, age 89, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Saturday, November 11, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Delina, Tennessee, on May 10, 1934, to the late Clyde and Elizabeth Richardson Duckworth. She would attend Cornersville School for 12 years and graduated valedictorian of the Class of 1952. In June 1952, she would marry her sweetheart of the previous five years, J. B. Sullivan. They were married in a small ceremony in the front yard of Delina Church of Christ in the front seat of their car while the preacher married them from the outside. They would be married 53 years prior to his passing in September of 2005. During those years and beyond, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister in Christ and homemaker. She had many interests and talents from reading, crocheting, cooking and all-around loving and caring person. But, her knowledge in her family history and genealogy surpassed it all except for her knowledge of the Bible and studying thereof. Wanda was a member of Hardin Chapel Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Lizzie; husband J. B. Sullivan; dear uncle, Kenneth Duckworth; special friend and "sister" Jewell Wright Cashion. She is survived by one daughter, Dana (William) Wells of Lewisburg; granddaughter, Stacy (Mike) Thompson of Lewisburg; her precious great grands, Rhett and Harper, and numerous friends and family members who held her dear. Graveside Service will be conducted on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Medium Cemetery in Delina, Tennessee, with burial to follow.
