"Kimberly Anne Niedzielski (Kim) age 54, formerly of Toms River, New Jersey passed away Thursday, February 29th 2024. Kim was born on February 18th 1970. She is survived by her husband Krzysztof Niedzielski (46), eldest son, Christopher John Niedzielski (21) and daughter, Jayda Marie Niedzielski (15). Also by her mother Susan Renee Podesta (76). As well as her 3 siblings, oldest sister Charisse Kurasz (55), her youngest brother Edward Podesta (49) along with his wife, Jennifer and youngest sister Jessica Burkhard (32). Also survived by her nephews Alexander Edward Kurasz (24) and fiancée Melanie Lebrocq and Andrew Altiery (25). Her uncle Howard Hulin (69) and cousins Lindsay Hulin (31) and Erik Hulin (43). She attended Nutley High School in 1988. Kim moved to Toms River in June, 2001 with her husband Krzysztof. She later proceeded her career in the dental field in the early 2000s. Kimberly was an independent, strong individual. As she stood as a fine leader for her children and family. Kim was a woman who can leave a unforgettable impact in one conversation. She will be greatly missed by Her family and forever friends. Visiting will be Tuesday March 5, 2024 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River.. Services will begin at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Cremation will be private."

Andrew Nisbet, 60, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at home in Toms River, NJ. Born in Red Bank, NJ. Andy lived in Kearny before moving to Toms River four years ago. He was an attendant at the Lukoil Gas Station in North Arlington for several years. Mr. Nisbet was a standout baseball player in left field for the Kearny Kardinals and was a member of the team in 1981when they reached No. 2 in the State of New Jersey. He earned all-county honors that year and later would be inducted into the Kearny High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He is survived by his beloved daughter, his everything, Kendra Nisbet and her fiancé, Daniel Trzepla, one brother, Alan Nisbet and many nieces and nephews. Andy was predeceased by his wife, Diane (Marks) Nisbet, one brother Archibald R. Robert “Rob” passed away at his home in Toms River on Sunday, February 25th, 2024, at the age of 63. Rob was born and raised in South Plainfield, New Jersey. He attended South Plainfield High School and was a graduate of Arizona State University. Rob was a Property Manager for General Commercial Properties for 20 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his beloved Baltimore Ravens and New York Mets. Rob also enjoyed movies especially the “behind the scenes” making of movies. Son of the late Robert J. Sholtis, Sr., and Pauline Sholtis, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Evelyn, his sisters Carolyn McCormick of Scottsdale, Arizona, Susanne White and her Husband, John of Lawrenceville, New Jersey; nieces, Kelly and Erin McCormick, and his nephews Michael McCormick, John White, Jr., and Matthew White. Rob will be remembered as someone who could easily bring a smile to anyone he met and especially to all who know him. Services will be private.

Helen M. Mattera (nee McCarthy), 82, formerly of Huguenot, Staten Island, NY, passed away peacefully at Rose Garden Nursing Home, Toms River, NJ on February 10, 2024. The last 3 years she had several strokes but the strength she had shown through all these obstacles showed how much of a fighter she was. She had a beautiful smile and this wonderful loud laugh – that made everyone laugh around her. She was loved by all and was a mom to all our friends growing up - that’s how she earned the nickname "Momma Helen". We were so fortunate to have her as our mom, because the kind of love she gave us was the purest you could ever find. She was a ray of sunshine in all of our lives. She did some modeling, had various clerical jobs, worked in retail and was a homemaker. She was born to the late Thomas and Helen McCarthy, in Brooklyn, NY. She was predeceased by her brothers Thomas and Richard. Helen graduated from Midwood High School in 1959, Brooklyn, NY. She married the late John Mattera in 1962, and they lived together in Brooklyn until 1969 when they moved to Huguenot, Staten Island, NY. She is survived by three daughters: Laura, of New Jersey; Kimberly (Erik), of South Carolina and Leigh (Anthony), of New Jersey. She is also survived by her grandkitties and grandpuppies. She was predeceased by her loving husband in 2014. She enjoyed shopping, reading, puzzles, walks, gardening, catching up with old friends, day trips and cooking. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 24th from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at Bedell Pizzo Funeral Home. Private funeral - Interment of ashes Resurrection Cemetery.
