Barbara A. (Boland) Doren, 90, of Millis, MA, passed away, Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center, Whitinsville, MA. She was the wife of the late William J. Doren Jr. Born in East Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Celia (MacDonald) Boland. Barbara was a long time member of the St. James Women's Guild and enjoyed crocheting and crafting. She is survived by a son, Robert M. Doren and his wife Deborah of Millis, MA, two grandchildren, Maureen and Caitlin and her husband George, and a great granddaughter, Olivia. She was also the mother of the late William F. Doren, and sister of the late Thomas Boland, John Boland, James Boland, Steve Boland, Mary Blake and Margaret Boland. Visiting hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. , NATICK COMMON, on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 9:00-10:00 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Church, 99 Main St. , Wayland, at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Barbara Jeanne (Pollard) Popp, 55, of Natick, MA, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Barbara (Armstrong) Pollard. She was the loving wife of Kenneth J. Popp for 26 years. She is survived by her pride and joy, her son, Justin, and her daughter, Samantha both of Natick. She is also survived by her two sisters, Brenda Fahey of Marshfield, MA and Susan Pollard-Doucette of Nashua, NH. She is endlessly adored by in-laws and countless nieces and nephews. Barbara proudly served as the compliance coordinator at Babson College for the last 7 years where she was loved by all. Her family shares fond memories of family vacations to some of her favorite places, which include Disney World, Cape Cod, and Bermuda. She loved to cook, especially during the Christmas Season, as this was her favorite time of year. But most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her children and husband. Lino Anthony Bordi of Virginia Beach, VA formerly Dix Hills, NY passed away surrounded by the love of his family on November 18, 2023. He was 82 years old. Beloved husband of Ginny (Marinelli) Bordi. Devoted father of Michael Bordi (Jessica) of Virginia Beach, VA and Leanne Sarro (Joseph) of Sudbury, MA. Loving grandfather of Luke, Matthew, Jack Sarro; Lino and Bennett Bordi. Cherished brother of Anthony Bordi Jr. of New York and the late Frank Bordi. Son of the late Antonio and Maria (Corvi) Bordi. Lino will always be remembered as an incredible husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend. If you knew Lino, you loved him and he probably loved you too. He took pride in his family, always their biggest cheerleader. He will be missed so much. Lino met the love of his life, Ginny, at Pan Am in 1968. They have been happily married for 53 years. Lino's charismatic personality, strong work ethic, and determination to succeed led him to become a successful business owner. He became a legacy distributor at Boar's Head Provisions since 1982- paving the way for future generations for his family. He truly lived life to the fullest. He knew how to make people laugh and smile. He was the master at gathering family and friends together and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed playing baseball, racquetball, golf, bocce, bowling but poker was his main game. Through the years, he demonstrated his strength and resiliency by fighting one illness after another inspiring his children every day with his incredible strength, unselfishness, and unconditional love. He was a devoted Papa to his five grandsons; he enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with them and cheering them on. He considered them his greatest blessings. Private Funeral Mass will be held in the Ascension Parish at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Sudbury, MA. There will be a Celebration of Life with more information to follow at a later date. Show more
