Barbara Clare D'Alessandro formally of Milton, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday April 23, 2023 at the age of 91. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Ralph D'Alessandro and is survived by their four children, Donna Bunker and her husband Paul, Ralph D'Alessandro, Denise Fisher and her husband Jack, and Diane Brady and her husband Timothy all of Abington. Cherished sister of Marjorie Porter and the late Ruth Williams. Beloved Nana to Paul, Kristen, Lauren, Joseph, Dorothy, Deidra, William, Alessandra, John, Shane and Brendan, and Great Nana to ten great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara grew up in Mattapan where she met the love of her life at fourteen years old. They raised their four children in Hyde Park and Milton. Barbara was a proud homemaker whom loved her family deeply. She loved planning parties and enjoyed cooking and preparing for them. She will be remembered for hosting large family parties from their Milton home. In later years Barbara guided her children in hosting family events. After Ralphs unexpected passing in 1993, Barbara became a compassionate care giver to the elderly, working until she was 88 year as old. She was a proud member of AA for 25 years where she made many great friendships and drew strength following the early death of her late husband. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in Old South Union Church, Weymouth. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton.
