Mervin "Perm Glizzy" Joseph Magee departed this life on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the age of 25. He was a native Port Sulphur and a resident of Marrero. He was the son of Eric and Jerilynn M. Rogers and Mervin Joseph Barthelemy. He was the brother of Sheliah Magee, Erice Rogers, Aniya Barthelemy, Madysen Barthelemy, D'Vyne Barthelemy, Montae Barthelemy, Ja'mia Freeman, Kingston Brock, A'miracle Barthelemy, London Barthelemy and Semaj Buckley. He was the grandson of Jerry Charles, Jr and Olibra Ragas Magee, Alicia Riley and Mervin Riley Jr. He was the nephew of Mariah Magee, Angela Barthelemy, Herschel Barthelemy, Ron-Kal Riley, Tamerrol Johnson and Benett Roy. He was a nephew figure to Amanda Turner and Lynnae Williams. Mervin was the Godson of Coreka Riley and James Phillips Sr. He was the Godfather of Marley Magee. Mervin was the beloved brother-friend of Justin "Poppa" Phillips III. He was the devoted and loyal friend of Frankie Morris, Kendrick Vallee, Aaron Williams, Amond Hardin, Blake Billiot, Larry Richardson, LaQuan Richardson and Jaquam Turner. He was loved by many near and far. Mervin was an entrepreneur and an artist. His passion was designing clothes, especially t-shirts. He enjoyed making music as an aspiring rapper. His favorite food was jambalaya, his mawmaw's pecan candy and sock-it-to-me cakes. His favorite sayings was "Loyalty Never Dies", "GOD got Me" and "I luv Ya". Mervin "Perm Glizzy" Joseph Magee leaves to cherish his many memories, his parents, grandparents, great grandmother, Shelley McKnight, siblings, aunts and uncles, great aunts, great uncles, and host of cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Trey Stahl, her stepdaughter, RayLynn Guidry, two sisters, Dena Everett and Priscilla Simonson, her father, Bernard Stahl, her stepfather, Leonard R. A. Grace Hope Gremillion passed from this life unexpectedly on Wednesday January 24, 2024, at the age of 31. Grace came into this world on May 19, 1992 and found her way to her loving parents Karyn Autin and Dwayne Faggard of Marrero, Louisiana. Grace leaves behind her beloved one year old son, Sage Gracen Gremillion. Sage is her greatest accomplishment, as her heart's desire was always to be a mother. Grace leaves behind her sister Nicole and her husband Brandon Sekinger and their two children, Bennett and Ellery. Her beloved grandmother Barbara Nason, grandparents Clifford and Deanna Faggard III, Aunt Kanya Nason, Aunt Kandi and Uncle Gregory Hayes, Uncle Jefferson Faggard Sr., Uncle Clifford and Penny Faggard Jr., Aunt Sandra and Uncle Jim Fitzgerald and many cousins on both sides of the family. Grace was preceded in death by her grandfather Edward Lee Nason. Grace loved cats and would never leave a stray hungry. She mothered three special kittens into adulthood that were her hearts passion. Roxy, Simba and Nova, all rescued very young that needed care and to be bottle fed day and night. They became her lifelong friends. She also loved swimming, reading books, and listening to music, she really enjoyed going to concerts. Her idea of a good time was doing at least one of those things. She was a quiet and reserved person, very unique and a one of a kind. She always enjoyed her time with her family and friends. She loved to write poems, music lyrics and kept an ongoing journal about her own life. She was also interested in art, she liked to draw and do sketches. Another passion, was fashion. Grace had her own style and hoped to become a seamstress one day, creating her own line of clothing. Grace always enjoyed her time with her best friend Kayla Brooks. They would ride around sharing their future plans, laughing and having fun together. Kayla was like another sister to Grace. Kayla was very caring and supportive. She accepted Grace, and was always there for her. Grace will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Memorial service and visitation will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 at Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero, Louisiana from 1:00PM to 5:00PM.
