A Memorial service will be held at his home in Estherwood on Sunday, October 15, 2023, for Avery Anthony Arcemont, Sr. , 70, who died at 7:30 a. m. in Crowley. Mr. Arcemont was born October 15, 1952 in Berwick, LA to Andrew Arcemont and Evelyn Dinger Lodrige. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked many jobs but in the oilfield most of his life. He enjoyed gardening and doing carpentry work. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Crochet Arcemont; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Arcemont and her companion, Tony barker and Mona Arcemont of Crowley; 2 sons, Avery Arcemont, Jr. and Collins Arcemont both of Estherwood; 1 sister, Eveline Carmello of Bayou Lewis a brother, Andrew Arcemont of Franklin; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Alton Dinger and Lewis Arcemont and a sister, Dianne Fuselier. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Lawrence Atherton Libby, Jr. who was born January 27, 1941, and passed away November 24, 2023, at Ochsner Acadia General Hospital in Crowley. Fr. Andrew Schumacher, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Saturday from 9:00 am to the time of service at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Lawrence was a dedicated business owner of Libby Air Conditioning where he served the Crowley and surrounding areas for many years. He succeeded his father Lawrence Atherton Libby, Sr. in the business following his death in 1964 and it is still operating today. Lawrence received multiple distinguished Trane Dealer awards during his tenure and being awarded Businessman of the Year in 2016 by the Crowley Chamber of Commerce. He was a longtime member of Crowley Town Club and Crowley Town Club Revelers. He served as King Cimmer 41 in 1996. Lawrence was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his love was spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Enola Alleman Libby; two daughters, Debbie Libby Gaspard, and Dinah Libby Habetz and her husband Damian; one son, Michael James Libby and his wife Michelle; two sisters, Judith Libby and Kathleen O. Mallia; four grandchildren, Blanche Hernandez and her husband Kenneth, Valerie Keaton and her husband Doug, Lance Habetz and her husband Danielle, and Simone Doucet and her husband Evan; and eleven great-grandchildren, Hayden, and Heath Hernandez, Cooper Cary, Caroline, Charlotte, Griffin Keaton, William, Benjamin, Millie Habetz, Everett and baby Doucet. Mr. Libby is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Ouida Clark Libby, Sr. and his son-in-law, Ronnie Gaspard. Pallbearers will be Michael Libby, Damian Habetz, Lance Habetz, Cooper Cary, Hayden Hernandez, Heath Hernandez, and Kenneth Hernandez. A celebration of life for John Royer, Jr. of Crowley, Louisiana will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 2 p. m. in the Chapel at Geesey Ferguson Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Broussard will officiate. The family requests visiting hours Monday from 4 p. m. to 9 p. m. and Tuesday from 8 a. m. to service time. A rosary will be recited Monday at 6 p. m. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. John Royer, Jr. , age 87, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at 4:55 p. m. surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 29, 1936, to John Royer, Sr. and Emma Clement Royer in Morse, Louisiana. In his early years, he was known as "T-John. "On February 14, 1987, Sandra Williams became John's spouse. John and Sandra enjoyed many happy times in life; his work, his friends, telling stories and mostly his family. He loved having weekends at the camp, riding motorcycles, deer hunting, fishing, and having a few drinks, anything to be with people and friends. He was usually the life of the party wherever he was, and he never met a stranger. John's truck driving career lasted 60+ years. He worked for several companies locally, G&H Seed, John N John and Bubba Morgan Trucking. His proudest years were spent driving his own truck for J&S Trucking as owner operator. While we mourn John's physical presence, his enduring love, spirit, and wit will be with us always. We will treasure precious moments in our hearts forever. John is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Williams Royer, their daughters Betty Royer Richard and her spouse Russell Richard of Duson and Tammy Kibodeaux Pittman of Texas, their son, Todd Kibodeaux of Texas and their daughter in law, Mindy Kibodeaux of Texas. John is also survived by his grandchildren; Kentry Richard and spouse Tessa of Crowley, Bridget Richard and spouse Katherine, Cody Carroll and Alyssa Pittman, Brittany K. Rozelsky and spouse Bryce, Kristin K. Donigan and spouse Kyle, Taylor Kibodeaux and spouse Angel, and Aunchelle Denee Nicole Juell all of Texas. He was also the proud great grandpa to six great grandchildren, Ellen and Leah Richard, Grayson Marino, JT and Luke Donigan, Elizabeth Kibodeaux, and Adailynn Rae Corbin Warner. He is also survived by two brothers in law, Ronnie Williams and Mike "Bear" Williams. John was preceded in death by his beloved son AJ "Spanky" Royer, his parents, John Royer, Sr. and Emma Clement Royer, his brother Armenie Royer, two sisters, Zulma Theresa Royer and Marie Royer Sensat, brother-in-law, David Larkin, son Terryl Kibodeaux, son in law Larry Pittman and his in-laws AC Williams, Jr. and Nellie Roy Williams. The pallbearers will be Kentry Richard, Poncho Broussard, Joe John, Bill John, Cody Carroll, Laris Nolan, and Mike Royer.
