Audrey Sprung Obituary

Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at St. Mary's General Hospital Kitchener at the age of 86 years. Predeceased by her first husband Ralph Sprung, Audrey is survived by her second husband, John McNeely, her two children, son James Sprung (Mona) and daughter SusanTalboom (Tom) as well as two grandsons, Ryan and Carter Talboom. Audrey was predeceased by her son Stephen and her parents Mark & Mary (nee Mills) Collier. Together with her husband Ralph, Audrey worked in the insurance business and later they owned and operated a Yacht manufacturing business. Audrey later became a Realtor until her retirement. She enjoyed volunteering with May Court and became a member of the Women's Probus Club. Audrey had a passion for interior decorating and enjoyed travelling, sailing and she loved entertaining. Special thanks to the nurses, doctors and caregivers of St. Mary's Hospital, the caregivers from Homecare and Grand River Hospital over the past number of years as well as special family friend Linda for the exceptional care and support shown to Audrey and her family. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. , Waterloo on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Columba Anglican Church, 250 Lincoln Road, Waterloo on Thursday at 3:00 pm. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
