Audrey Myers Obituary

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11 a. m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Iota for Audrey Cart Myers, 85, who died Friday, April 21, 2023, at 9:25 p. m. surrounded by her loving family. Fr. Jude Thierry, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Tuesday from 3 p. m. to 10 p. m. and Wednesday from 8 a. m. to 10:45 a. m. A rosary will be recited at 6 p. m. Tuesday. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Mrs. Audrey is survived by three daughters, Monica M. LeJeune and her husband Michael of Iota, Nancy Myers of Iota, Donna Myers and her husband Scott Hoffpauir of Bethesda, MD; 6 grandchildren, Micaela Lavergne, Caitlin LeBlanc, Sara Hoffpauir, Kyle Hoffpauir, Jake Michael LeJeune, Darcy Hoffpauir and 8 great-grandchildren, Emma, Wade, Kylie, John Michael, Evelyn, Ryan, Brock, and Clara. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Willie Archie Myers; her parents, Cleve and Clara Ortego Cart; three brothers, Calvin, Alden and Leward Cart. Pallbearers will be Jake Michael LeJeune, Russell LeBlanc, Dustin Lavergne, Kyle Hoffpauir, Jackson Core, and Eric Miller. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews, Lisa Cart Shamp, Janet Cart Tilley, Rebecca Faye Cart, Kathleen Ann Guidroz, Sharon LeJeune Core, Douglas Leward Cart, Bertman Louis Cart, Jonathon Cedric Edwin Cart, John Alden Cart, Clarence Carol Cart, Cecil James Cart, Pete LeJeune, Chris Benoit and Cathy Richard. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Beth Trahan, Polly Navarre, Pam Forestier along with Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care of Mrs. Myers these last few months.
