Audrey Marcus Obituary

Audrey Marcus of Boca Raton, FL entered into rest on September 5, 2023, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Irving Marcus with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Her memory lives on through her sons and their families, Aaron and Nancy Marcus along with their children Gabby & Jackson of Charlotte, NC, Lawrence and Suzanne Marcus and their children Cameron, Charlotte & Skylar of Saugus, MA. The loving sister of Ruth Katz of Boca Raton, FL. Daughter of late Sophie & Leonard Katz of Salem, MA. Audrey grew up in Salem, MA, graduated from Beth Israel Hospital and spent the majority of her 40-year career as an RN/visiting nurse. She raised her family in Peabody, MA. She was a dedicated member of Temple Ner Tamid of the North Shore. Audrey loved reading, visiting museums, listening to classical music, and playing bingo and slots as much as she could in the North Shore and South Florida. A graveside service for Audrey Marcus will be held on Wednesday, September 13th at 11:00am at Sudlikov Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, MA 02149. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
