Arthur Sanchez Valverde born November 23, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord June 18, 2022, at the age of 76. Arthur is preceded in death by his Parents, Miguel and Antonia Salazar; and brother, Daniel Valverde (Elsa). Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Yolanda R. Valverde; Daughters, Juanita Santillan (Sergio), and Kimberly Palomo (Manuel); sons, Arthur Valverde Jr. (Debra), Joe A. Valverde (Annette), Alejandro Valverde (Pearl), and Michael Ramon (Annette); 4 brothers, 3 sisters, 21 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Arthur will be dearly missed by those who knew him. Arthur retired from Kelly Air Force Base after 30 years of service. As a resident of Poteet, Texas he proudly served as a city councilman.
