Obituary of Arthur Gillespie Arthur A. Gillespie of Lynbrook, NY, passed on February 13, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of the late Mary Ellen and the dear father of their children Patricia Gillespie and Anthony Joseph Gillespie and Anthony's wife Ellen. Arthur is the cherished grandfather of Karlee Victoria Gillespie and Anthony Joseph Gillespie, Jr. He will also be missed by his loving extended family. Mr. Gillespie served our country as a member of the Army and was Honorably Discharged in 1967 Arthur was retired, but was involved in high rise costruction throughout his life. He held many qualifications and positions durring his career inclusive of his efforts as Construction Party Chief and Head Construction Estimator for Local 15D Operating Engineers. Visiting will be held at N.F. Walker, Inc. Funeral Home 2039 Merrick Ave. Merrick NY on Sunday and Monday the 17th and 18th of Feb. from 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church located at 720 North Merrick Ave., North Merrick NY on Tuesday Feb. 19, 2019 at 10:15AM.
