Arthur Denessen Obituary

Arthur Jeffrey Denessen (Jeff), 87, of Sudbury, MA, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023. He was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on October 8, 1935 to Arthur H. and Selma Denessen (Risty). Jeff attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a United States Army Veteran and served in Germany as a weapons specialist. Jeff was most passionate about his family. He adored his beautiful wife, Cynthia. Their 46 year marriage was truly inspiring. He was a loyal employee of Polaroid for almost forty years, he loved photography, and summering in Nova Scotia. Jeff was also an avid motorcyclist. Jeff was the beloved husband to Cynthia Denessen (Knowles). He is predeceased by his infant son Arthur. He is survived by his daughter Laura McLaughlin and husband Sean of Alaska, his daughter Erica of California, 11 grandchildren Maria (Roberts), Catherine, Jack, Bernadette, Charles, Lucia, Caroline, Paul, Michael, Gianna and Tristan. He is also survived by great-granddaughter Madelyn. Visitation will be held at Duckett Funeral Home of J. S. Waterman & Sons from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 9:00am at Ascension Parish, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury. Interment immediately following mass at New Town Cemetery, Sudbury.
