Arnold Flettrich Obituary

After a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, Arnold Ferdinand Flettrich, 75, passed away at his home in Porter, TX, on April 17, 2023. He was born in Marrero, longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish, and then Abita Springs, LA until moving to Texas 3 years ago. Arnold was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force after serving in the Vietnam War. He then worked as a cable repairman with South Central Bell, then Bellsouth where he retired from after 31 years. He was an avid fisherman and will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Ferdinand Allen Flettrich and Margaret M. LaForest, and brother Aron Flettrich. Arnold is survived by his beloved spouse of 53 years, Margaret Duracher Flettrich and his son Adam Paul Flettrich, daughter Amanda Flettrich Bergeron, brother, Allen Flettrich, granddaughters Jenna Bergeron and Landry Flettrich. Relatives and friend of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 12 Noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
