Arnold "Arnie" Avery Bandy, age 65, of Hillsboro, passed away at his home on June 18, 2022. He was born the son of the late Marlen Avery and Agnes L. (Preimesberger) Bandy on August 10, 1956 in Cincinnati. Arnie worked for the United States Postal Service and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Some of his favorite things to do were hunting and fishing. Arnie also enjoyed music having played both the guitar and keyboard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Aaron James Avery Kuyper. Arnie is survived by his loving wife, Karen Lynn (West) Bandy; his son, Justin A. Bandy (Jessica); step sons, Jason Lee Smith and Charles Ryan Smith; grandchildren, William Michael Bandy, Joseph Ashbry Williams IV, and Drake Wayne Smith; and siblings, Sansee Toombs, Marlene Gravitt, Ellen Couch, Michael Bandy, Bruce Bandy (Rhonda), Celeste Sizemore, Alison Enos (Ted), and Sean Bandy. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00pm at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
