Mrs. Faye Christian Brown, 83, of Lillington passed away, Sunday, February 25, 2024, at her home in Lillington. Faye was born February 7, 1941, in Harnett County, NC to the late James C. Christian and Lucille B. Christian. She was a teacher for Harnett County Schools for many years. She was a member of the Four Seasons Garden Club and Tea and Topics Book Club. Faye was also a member of Lillington Presbyterian Church and served as a board member for the Friends of the Harnett County Library. Faye was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Collins, granddaughter, Brittany Taylor, parents Jim and Lucille B. Christian, and sister, Brenda Byrd. Faye is survived by her husband of 47 years, Tom Brown, daughters, Sonya Taylor, Brenda McLeod (Kelly), Jamie Frazee (Royce); grandchildren, Catherine Garrett, Ashley Hicks, Morgan Holloway, Megan Keith, Colin Frazee, Christian Frazee, and Ava Frazee; great grandchildren, Chloe Jordan, J.B. Hicks, Grace Hicks, Adelynn Keith, Rhett Holloway and Ander Taylor; sister, Nancy Christian; brother, James Christian (Peggy); many nieces and nephews. William “Bill” Roland Murray, 88, of Kipling, passed away, Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington, NC. Bill was born April 25, 1935 in Wake County, NC to the late William Raymond and Myrtle Rose Burnette Murray. He was owner and operator of A-1 Forklift Service, LLC for over 30 years. Bill was a gifted musician and shared a band with his sons, the “Moonlighters”. He was an animal lover, his beloved cats, Dewey, Little Mama, Stormy Sue, and Little Bit, will miss him dearly. Bill was preceded in death by his son, Van Stephen Murray; daughter, Theresa Sharon Murray, and step-daughter, Jenny Lynn Holmes. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Doris Evelyn Haire Murray; sons, William R. Heather was employed with Physicians Total Rehab in Fayetteville, NC for over 13 years. She enjoyed driving her red Corvette and spending time with her fur babies. Heather will be missed by all that knew her. Deloris was born on December 5, 1949 in Long Beach, CA to the late James Caviness Brown and Cecelia Marie Brown. She was a graduate of Boone Trail High School and Central Carolina Community College. Deloris worked with Lee County Schools, retiring with 30 years of service. She attended Fayetteville Community Church and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Deloris loved her family and enjoyed providing wonderful meals for them. She was an avid Carolina Hurricanes, Duke Basketball and NASCAR fan. Michelle Williams, 58, of Lillington, passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2024 at her home in Lillington, NC surrounded by friends and family. Michelle was born April 6, 1965 in Kirksville, MO. She was a graduate of Excelsior College and employed with Duke Energy as a Station Scientists Manager. Many knew her as a friend and mentor who inspired all of us with her wisdom and life experiences. Michelle will forever be remembered for her kindness and compassion. She was a pillar to her family and treated everyone she met with love. Michelle was a fun- loving, adventure-seeking woman, who loved her family, and her retreat at the beach dearly. She would lend an ear or hand to anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, June Sunderland; sisters, Gina Sunderland, Traci Sunderland, and niece Stormy Dawn Jones.
