"April Louise Gruner (Haynes), of Chesterfield Township, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the age of 70. April was born on April 2, 1953 in Detroit to the late Edwin Albert and Emily Veronica (Cabrian) Haynes. April leaves behind her loving husband, Thomas \u0026quot;Matt\u0026quot; Gruner Sr and she was a loving and cherished mother of Matthew Gruner Jr. and Aaron Gruner and dear mother-in-law of Crystal Gruner. April was the cherished and adoring grandmother of Aubrey Theresa Lynn. April's siblings include sister Patricia L. (Haynes) Powers, brother; Edwin Michael Haynes and the late Loretta Wisniewski, Debbie Haynes (Grivas) and Brian Albert Haynes. April is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. April was a school bus driver for almost 20 years with the Anchor Bay School district. She greatly enjoyed gardening, traveling and scrapbooking. April was the "Anchor" of her loving family and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Wasik Funeral Home New Baltimore, 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore, 48047. Funeral Service Thursday at the Funeral Home. April will be laid to rest at the Oakwood Cemetery. "
