Anthony W. Reibel, 90, beloved husband of 61 years of the late Marilynn (Bauer), very proud father of Anthony (Sherrill), Thomas (Deborah), MaryLynn, Christine (Robert Siwik), and Robert (Maureen). Devoted grandpa of Anthony (Kathy), Stephanie, William (Christina), Jonathon (Crystal), Kelly (Anthony Marrero), Christian (Lauran), Nic (Maggie), Jessica (Cody Thomas), Kaitlyn (Brian Beaugureau), Craig (Andrea) Siwik, Danielle (Peter Tuttle), Brittany (Cody Stubbeman), Robert, and Bradley (DrewAnn). Adored "Big Cheese/Big Poppa" of Anthony, Grayson, Caraline, Andrew, Christopher, Lexi, Jackson, Ella, Thomas, Mila, Brayden, Jonny, Cillian, Brynn, Harper, Drew, Hazel and Baby Tuttle. Loving big brother of the late Donald (the late Carole). Proud uncle of Michael (Pat), Susan (Gene Leicht), and Douglas (Michele) Reibel. 1950 Graduate of Lane Tech High, Proud Korean War Veteran, 47 year employee of American Rivet Company retiring as President, First Commissioner of Windy City Softball League, Past President of River Forest Country Club, Past President of Maine South High School Booster Club, Past President of West District Golf League, Member and short center of the great American Rivet Sobies 16" softball team who won 3 World Championships and were named one of the top five teams of the last 50 years, Co-Founder and 1996 inductee of Chicago 16" Softball Hall of Fame, Coach of Park Ridge youth in baseball, football and basketball programs. When asked how he made it to 90 years old, he answered, "Faith, Family and Friends". Please remember Tony Reibel as a straight-shooting honest man who dearly loved his family and friends. He was our hero. We will love and cherish his memory all the rest of our days. Visitation Friday, May 12, 2-9 p. m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home, 120 S. Northwest Hwy. , Park Ridge. Funeral Saturday, 9:45 a. m. from funeral home to Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church. Mass 10:30 a. m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
