Anthony Charles Meadows, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2023, in Winchester, Kentucky. Born on April 5, 1983, in Orange County, California, Anthony was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Anthony was a skilled carpenter, working alongside his father at Ceiling Concepts. Anthony was best described as kind, a trait that was evident in his interactions with everyone he met. Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Tiger Meadows, his brother, Matthew Meadows, his grandparents, Charles and Nancy Meadows, and James and Margaret Tiger. He is survived by his father, Tony Meadows, his son, Jackson Meadows, his siblings, Jeremy Meadows, Misty (Jordan) Spivey, and Christopher Meadows. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephew, Baylee and Maycee Spivey, Everley Meadows and Holden Payne, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Anthony's life was marked by his kindness and dedication to his family and work. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be at 5pm, Monday, September 18, 2023, at Crestview Holy Sanctuary. Visitation will be from 4pm to 5pm at the church before the service. Kermit G. Hartman Sr. of Winchester Ky. Passed away on Friday November 24 2023 at his home in Winchester Ky. Born on April 01 1943 in Lewistown Pa. to the late John R. Hartman and Emma Lucretia Hartman (Montgomery). In addition to his he was preceded by his wife of over 50 years Phyllis (Neal) and daughter Lucretia Odorizzi. Brothers John "Jack" Hartman, Clifford Hartman and his wife Linda. His sister Paulette Wernecke. Also Joe Paterno no relation. He is survived by his son Kermit and wife Shannon and their three children Charlotte, Kermit "Patrick" and Henry of Phillipsburg New Jersey. Also, son-in-law Kenneth Odorizzi and his wife Kim and their two children Elijah and Molly of Winchester. Brother William "Bill" Hartman and his wife Winnie of Lewistown Pa. His dog Harry Kalas and many others brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Winchester Ky. He graduated from Lewistown HS in 1962 where he played football and track plus a member of the glee club. Early he was employed by AT&T. Then was drafted into the United States Army to be Honorably Discharged in May of 1966. After his discharge he went back to work for AT&T. Where traveled the north east from Virginia to Maine installing long distance lines. In this time he met the love of his life Phyllis and married November 9th of 1968. August 3rd 1969. They had their first child Lucretia "Chris" then came Kermit Jr June 28th 1972. They raised their children in Broadway NJ. He coached youth sports and was rabid Penn State football fan. While in HS his friends and Kermit used to jump the fence at Beaver Stadium and scatter so the security guards could not catch them. He was also Philadelphia Phillies and New York Jets fan. When he met Phyllis he became a University of Kentucky basketball fan. In 1999 he retired from AT&T 37 years service not missing a day for around 33 years. He moved to Winchester Ky. in May of that year till his death. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Boonesboro Cemetery. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00PM, Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Scobee Funeral Home.
