Obituary of Anthony Licamara, Jr. Anthony Joseph Licamara, 68, of Point Pleasant, New Jersey passed away on January 30, 2019. Anthony was born to Lena and Anthony Licamara on December 17, 1950 in Weehawken, New Jersey. Anthony loved to work. He started as a truck driver and worked his way up to a salesman for JH HAAR and Sons in North Bergen. From there, he became the test kitchen/catering chef for US Foods. After retiring peacefully for six months, Anthony started working at AWP as traffic control and taking many catering jobs for friends. Anthony also loved cooking for, bartending in, and hanging out at the club in Bay Head Shores in Point Pleasant. Anthony met Kathleen Cubberly Licamara in 1972. They were married on April 19, 1975 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Together they raised two wonderful boys. Anthony was predeceased by his father, Anthony. Anthony is survived by his oldest son, Anthony and his wife, Laurie, his youngest son, Eric and his wife, Jennifer. Anthony had three precious granddaughters, Adelyn, Lucille, and Emily Ann. Anthony is also survived by his mother, Lena; sister, Arlene and her husband David Carlsen. As well as in-laws, Patricia Cubberly, Howard Cubberly, and Robert Cubberly. He will be forever missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m., Friday, February 1 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Saturday, February 2 a Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, 406 Forman Ave. (corner of Saint Louis Ave.) Point Pleasant Beach. Cremation will be private.
