Anthony Hernandez Obituary

Anthony J. Hernandez, 22, of Lancaster, passed away April 19, 2023. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Ferdinand Hernandez, husband of Jennifer, and the late Shana R. Hernandez. His family fondly remembers his love of animals, debating politics, playing basketball, and most importantly, spending time with those he loved. To say he was passionate, caring, and respectful, would not scratch the surface of who Anthony was and what he embodied. He was a philanthropist, doing and giving everything he could, to uplift and fill others. The loss of his mother and brother at a young age were defining moments for Anthony. From these experiences, he lived life to its fullest and treasured every moment. In recent years he took advantage of the opportunity of working side by side with his dad. The two of them made the most of their time together, sharing everything from laughs, songs, jokes, and their love of sneakers. His memories will be cherished by all who knew and loved Anthony, including his father and stepmother; siblings, Jamias Hernandez of Lancaster, William "Will" Murrey of Lancaster, Luz Hernandez of Lancaster, Minerva Martinez of Lancaster, and Kira-Marie McClure of Landisville; nephews and nieces, Royce, Juju, and India; many aunts, uncles and cousins, and his beloved cat, Snoop. He was preceded in passing by his mother, and brother, Joell Hernandez. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
