Cheryl Lynn Satterwhite, of Farrell, Pennsylvania, gracefully passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, during the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at UPMC – Presbyterian Hospital, while surrounded by family. She was 67.Cheryl was born March 28, 1956, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a daughter to Claude Pope, Jr. and Callie (Jordan) Pope.She graduated from Sharon High School in 1974 and furthered her education by attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania.Family was most important to her. She proudly served as a homemaker after leaving the workforce to care for family. Her heart was one of pure gold and her caring nature was second to none.Cheryl was an avid reader and learner. She faithfully read her daily devotionals. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with family and friends. Attending her grandchildren's activities warmed her heart the most. She often volunteered her time to support her family’s needs and organizations.Survivors include: her mother, Callie, of Sharon; husband, Gary S. Satterwhite, whom she married on Valentine’s Day in 1976 and held hands with for the next 48 years; children, Lisa (Anthony) Pegues, of Farrell, Nicole (Michael) Drayton, of Ellenton, Florida, and Gary Satterwhite, II, (Malika Faulkner), of Farrell; grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Kailynn, Gary III, Michael III, Christian, Aaron, Ashton, William, Laila, Nicholas, Kennidee, Jrue, & Corynn; great-grandson, Nazir; siblings, Gloria (Harry) Christman and David Pope; sister-in-law, LaVerne Pope; brother-in-law, Jonathan Tolliver; as well as a host of nieces & nephews, including a goddaughter, Kiara.She was preceded in death by her father.A Home Going Celebration will be held in her honor on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM, in the Second Missionary Baptist Church, 1138 Spearman Avenue, Farrell, Pennsylvania 16121, where family and friends may gather one hour prior to pay their respects from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. On February 24, 2024, Shawntel E. Callahan a.k.a "Tizzy" gained her heavenly wings and was reunited with mother, father, and step-father. Shawntel was born April 24, 1980 to the late Theresa D. Callahan-Williams and Larry Barrow, both from Brooklyn, NY."Tizzy" or "Izz" as she was known as, is going to be always remembered as the life of the party. In her younger years,Shawntel spent her days running around Chauncey Drive in the hill district. In the hill is where she met some of her closetchildhood friends. As a teen, shawntel and her mother moved to Arlington heights. There she attended Carrick High school.People would come from all over the city to attend a "Tizzy" party. She was the queen of the Arlington Heights weekendparties. Izz will be remembered for her laugh, kind heart, and giving ways. Her kind spirit will be forever engraved in everyone'sheart. Shawntel leaves to mourn; her aunts Rita, Zina, Alesheia, Sharon, Gail and LaCresha  "kiki". Her uncles, Robert, Moe, David, Jerry, Clifton, Leon and Charles. Shawntel also leaves to mourn; a host of cousins and great cousins, her God Children, God Sister Khadijah, God Brother Terrance, and her loving God mother Gertrude. Surrounded by his family Walter Paul Mikulan, age 91, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. Walter was born in Pittsburgh, PA. on July 25, 1932, to the late Joseph and Mary (Bosiljevac) Mikulan. He was married to the love of his life the late Joan (Brown) Mikulan and together they raised 9 children; Walter (Mary) Mikulan Jr., David Mikulan, Mary Louise (Michael) Chraska, late Beverly Hughes, Joseph Mikulan, Linda (Michael) Ziedler, Charlene (Philip) Balsimo, Charles Mikulan, and Kathryn (Richard) Krebs. He was lovingly called "Polka Pappy" by his grandchildren; Erika (Waylon) Grove, Megan (John) Brown, Leah (Ethan) Jackson, Michael (Alex) Ziedler, Samantha Chraska, Timothy Hughes, Stephanie (Tom) Harman, Katie Chraska, Jimmy Balsimo and great grandchildren Jeffrey Fink Abby Grove, Wren Grove, Warren Grove, Keegan Brown, Declan Brown, Nolan Brown, Benny Harman, Cora Jackson and great great grandchildren Madison and Cameron. Walter Proudly joined the United States Army National Guard 28th Division where he served with honor and distinction. His time during the Korean Conflict was a testament of his courage, discipline and love for his country. Of all of Walter's achievements he was most "noted" for his musical talents, he was an accomplished upright bass musician in a polka band for many years. Walt was a life member of the Carpenters Union Local 432 in Robinson Twp. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most importantly he enjoyed his family. A visitation for Walter will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at H.P. Brandt Funeral Home, 1032 Perry Hwy, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15237, followed by a military honors at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at St. Nicholas Croatian Cemetery.

She was a retired Registered Nurse, having worked for Jeannette District Memorial Hospital until it closed. A Catholic by faith, she was a member of Ascension and Sacred Heart Churchs, Jeannette. "Marjorie “Hoover” DePaolis, 89 of New Sewickley Township, passed away on February 28th, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital. Marjorie was born June 18th, 1934 in Hollidaysburg, PA. Daughter of the late Adam J. Sr. and Anna Yuengling Hoover. Marjorie was a housewife and homemaker, as well as a member of St. Felix Roman Catholic Church- Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Freedom, where she was a Christian mother. She was an avid card player, member of the AACA car club, North Hills car club, and Beaver County Model Airplane Club. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 70 years, Lawrence A. DePaolis Sr and is also survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Vickie and Rodney Eichhorn of Port St. Lucie, FL, Donna DePaolis McKeever of Gig Harbor, WA, Tracy and Mark Drago of Nazareth, PA. As well as two sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence A. Jr. and Judy DePaolis of Vienna, VA, and Michael A. and Dianne DePaolis of Rochester, PA. Marjorie was the proud grandmother to seventeen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is survived by four sisters, Annette Merretts, Shirley Fahr, Christina Newman, and Betty Ann Corl. Marjorie was preceded in death by four other sisters, Mary Jean Bleicher, Joan Porter, Gertrude McGraw, and Loretta Jacob. She was also preceded by three brothers, Adam Hoover Jr., Martin and Harold Hoover. Friends will be received on Monday March 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 at William Murphy Funeral Home Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester, PA 15074. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday March 5th at 10 am at St. Felix Roman Catholic Church, Freedom. Interment will be at Calvary cemetery in Freedom. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to St. Felix Roman Catholic Church at 450 13th Street, Freedom, PA 15024. On Tuesday, EVERYONE, is requested to come to the church by 9:30 for the Mass at 10."

With her family by her side, Coleen passed away peacefully on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the age of 92. Coleen Jeanne (birthname Nickaleen) was born on March 1, 1931 to the loving parents of Ralph and Katharine (Almara) Santucci. She is survived by sister Antonette McGaha, brother Anthony (Tony) Santucci, and many nieces and nephews, especially Sharon Kozak, Mary Lou Kozak and Godchild Sandy Aleski who were always there for her. Coleen was born and raised on the North Side of Pittsburgh by H. J. Heinz. She retired from Georgia Pacific at the age of 62. She also volunteered at St. Wenceslaus and St. Ambrose Manor for many years. Coleen was the loving and devoted mother of Linda Klajnowski, Deborah (the late Gregory) Cieply, and Arthur (Ellen) Klajnowski. Adored by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Coleen was very special to her granddaughter, Melinda Cieply, who devoted her life to helping her "Gram". Coleen was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma. She had a vivacious personality and always made people laugh and feel welcomed. She loved her bingo and playing "winning" the lottery. She will be forever in our hearts. A private viewing and blessing will be held.
