"Anthony Joseph Baggio of Waxhaw passed away peacefully September 27th, 2023. He was born May, 24th, 1974 to parents Marianne Marano and Anthony Joseph Baggio Sr. In addition to Waxhaw, he and his wife also lived in Bayside, New York. Anthony attended St. Francis College and was of the Catholic faith. Anthony was an associate of Wells Fargo Bank. He enjoyed watching the New York Football Giants, the Mets, and many other sports. He was friendly and poetic, writing many original poems. Anthony always had a smile and was a caring and protective husband and parent. Anthony loved spending time with family, going to church and playing with his fur baby "Ruffy. " Surviving Anthony are his loving wife Helen Baggio, whom he married August 9th, 2003; his beloved father Anthony Joseph Baggio Sr. , his treasured son Anthony Joseph Baggio III, and brothers Nicholas and Michael Baggio. "(November 26, 1969 - November 9, 2023) Patrick Michael Rienks, 53, of Waxhaw, NC, collapsed in his office in Charlotte, NC on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 and passed on Thursday, November 9th, 2023. His life began November 26, 1969, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, the oldest of two children born to Michael and Mary Rienks (Sweeney). Married to Hanna Grady Rienks in April 2003 in Charleston,SC, he is survived by Hanna and their two sons, Halen and Nolan, parents Michael and Mary Rienks, younger sister Kelley Shrock Ramaley (Rienks), brother-in-law Thomas Ramaley, nephew Andrew Shrock, nieces Amanda Shrock and Sarah Shrock, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Patrick was a graduate of Marian High School, Mishawaka, IN (1988). Patrick earned a B. S. degree in Chemical Engineering (1992) from Trine University, Angola, IN (formerly Tri-State University), and an International M. B. A. from Duke University, Durham, NC (2005). Patrick has worked over the years in various Executive and Sales roles traveling the world selling many products including industrial water pumps and filters. Patrick, most recently was President, North American Operations for Vesuvius Flow Control North. Patricks' sons meant the world to him. Patrick never met a stranger and often enjoyed talking about stocks with his son Halen and sports with his son Nolan. Patrick would give you the shirt off his back and was known far and wide for his generosity. Everyone who had the pleasure to know Patrick would describe him as a true friend and overwhelmingly generous. Patrick loved hosting neighborhood parties, helping neighbors with household projects, and providing a place for his sons and their friends to have time together. Patrick was most excited on game nights for his son Nolan's high school football and basketball games at Marvin Ridge High School, Waxhaw, NC. Patrick was proud of his sons' academic, personal, and athletic achievements, including Halen studying Engineering at North Carolina State University. Patrick will be cremated with a funeral service at St. Matthew Catholic Church 8015 Ballantyne Commons Pkwy. , Charlotte, NC 28277 on Thursday, November 16th from 12:45 pm - 2:00 pm, the family will receive visitors from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm pm prior and all are invited to attend a dinner following the funeral at 2:30 pm at South Charlotte Banquet Center, 9009 Bryant Farms Rd. , Charlotte, NC 28277. The family in Northern Indiana is also planning a Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church 52553 N. Fir Road, Granger, IN 46530 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 10:30 a. m. -11:45 a. m. The family will receive visitors from 9:30 am - 10:30 am in the entrance lobby of the church; lunch at the church will follow the Mass and all are invited. William "Gary" Underwood, 75, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He was born February 15, 1948, in Union County, NC, the son of the late William Underwood and Emmy Lou Godfrey Haywood. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Waxhaw United Methodist Church, 200 McDonald St, Waxhaw, NC 28173. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM in the church fellowship hall. He will be laid to rest at the Waxhaw City Cemetery, 111 Arbor Dr. , Waxhaw, NC 28173. Gary retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 40 years of service. After retirement, Gary worked for Lowes Home Improvement in Waxhaw. He was active and involved in the Waxhaw community, having served on the town council and as Mayor as well as the Waxhaw planning board. He also served on the Union County Hospice Board of Directors and as a member and past president of the Lions Club. Gary is survived by his brother, John Daniel Haywood and wife Linda, and sister, Cynthia Blake Jackson and husband, Howard Langley; two nieces, Laura Jackson Lane, and Summer Nicole Haywood; a nephew, John Haywood Jackson; one great niece, Addie Mae Jackson and three great nephews, Jackson Gold Lane, Samuel Blake Lane, Alex Haywood Jackson, and lifelong friend, Melvin (Grace) Faris. Roger Alan Krenzin of Waxhaw, NC passed on to eternal glory, "landing on Runway 36 Gold" on October 11, 2023. He loved God and his family and used his talents as a missionary pilot to serve the Lord with his life. His enthusiasm and smile are remembered by all who knew him. His family said he "never met a stranger" as he made friendships all over the world. Roger was born in Hutchinson, KS on July 13, 1946 to Ernest Edward Krenzin and Dorene Burns Krenzin. His parents were missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Africa where Roger lived as child. In 1964 Roger attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL to become a second generation missionary pilot. There he met Regina and they married in 1968. Roger was drafted into the U. S. Army in 1969 and served in Vietnam, where he earned a Bronze Star for meritorious service. Their daughter Linnea was born in 1973. They joined Wycliffe/JAARS in 1977, the year of their son Luke’s birth. Their first assignment was with the Helio program in Limoncocha, Ecuador from 1979-1982. In their next assignment he flew Helios for Lutheran Bible Translators in Liberia from 1983-1986. During furlough in 1986 Roger completed his Airline Transport Rating. They moved to Colombia to serve in theDC-3 and Helio programs in Bogota and Lomalinda from 1987-1991. After a short return to Colombia in 1993, the family moved back to NC where Roger served in the Aviation department and in Recruiting. Roger fondly remembered many people from each country in which he served. He flew translators and their supplies to and from remote villages, flew medical emergency flights and delivered newly translated Bibles to indigenous communities. He also enjoyed flying RC (remote-control) airplanes throughout his life and shared his love of RC flying with many people. In all, Roger and Regina served JAARS/Wycliffe with dedication and excellence for 35 years until Roger’s retirement after his diagnosis with FTD (Frontotemporal dementia). They have always been grateful for the numerous supporters who faithfully uplifted their ministry with prayer and financial support throughout the years. Roger is survived by his beloved wife Regina Baughman Krenzin of 55 years, siblings Ron Krenzin and Ruth Baughman; daughter Linnea Robinson, son Lucas Krenzin, and 6 grandchildren: Elijah, Esther, Eden, Isaac, Peregrine, and Phoenix. Bonnie Jackson, 62, of Waxhaw, NC, passed away on November 03, 2023, surrounded by her family. Bonnie, born on August 15th,1961 to James and Sandra Price. Bonnie was raised in Charlotte, NC and immediately brought joy and laughter into the world. Bonnie fell in love with Ricky Jackson and the two were inseparable from that point on. Richard and Bonnie were married for over 45 years and had 2 children, Rick and Kim. Bonnie was a fiercely dedicated mom to her children, raising both of them to go on to accomplish great things. She would go without to make sure everyone else had what they needed. Bonnie's favorite role was being a grandmother to her 4 grandsons. She did everything and anything for those 4 boys. Her favorite title in the world was Maw-maw Bonnie. Family came first and was above all else to Bonnie, a value she instilled in all those around her. If you passed by her house, she was always mowing grass. Mowing was her favorite hobby so she could keep her dark tan year-round. Bonnie loved going on cruises to explore different countries. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Bonnie was preceded in death by her grandmother Carrie Price, and father James Price. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Richard H. Jackson, son Richard J. Jackson (Revaey Colvin) daughter Kimberly (Darrel) Neeley, grandsons Karson Neeley, Jackson Neeley, Owen Jackson, Conner Jackson, mother Sandra Price, sister Tammy (Bobby) Smith (nieces Jennifer Rose & Kari Smith), brother Johnnie Price (nephew Cory Price) and her beloved dog Gracie.
