Timothy James "Tim" Engbers, age 46, beloved son of Janice (Frank) Fronek and the late James Engbers. Loving step-brother of Connie (Richard) Watson, Louis (Jill) Fronek, Samuel (Diana) Fronek and Jessica Fronek. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dearest cousin of many. Tim will also be greatly missed by his Bethshan family. Timothy James Engbers was born in Oskaloosa, IA on January 27, 1977 to James and Janice Engbers and lived in Pella, IA. It was soon determined that Tim had cerebral palsy and was severely handicapped. Because of his disabilities, it was decided to move to Palos Heights, IL so Tim could attend Elim Christian School. When he was 18 he moved into Bethshan and has been lovingly cared for by the Bethshan staff for 28 years while also attending Elim Work Services daily. Tim had a quick smile for everyone and showed empathy to those who were hurting. In spite of being non-verbal, he had his own unique ways of expressing himself. Tim will be missed by his mother and his stepfather Frank and many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as by his Bethshan family. Visitation Friday, December 8, 2023 from 3-7 p. m.
