As a child, His family remembers him and his closest sibling, the late "Zooka" Rivera, fixing and tinkering with all the local kids' bikes in Coatesville, PA. This ignited a passion for auto repairs which eventually became one of the skills he was best known for. He started working at the age of 15 into adulthood holding long-term positions in Chester County at Southmill Mushroom, Kennetex, and Tastycake. At any point in his life, No one who met PeeWee forgot his effortless humor and kindness. He had many loving titles: a son, brother, friend, father, and grandfather. He found joy in lightening others' burdens whether it be helping with their cars, filling stomachs, or dancing goofily. Despite all that he did for others, he did not expect much in return; a simple "thank you" was often enough. His final earthly home would be in Florida, a place where he could spend his days sitting on beaches and enjoying life's priceless gifts like sunrises and sunsets. In his final years, he made a point to frequently reach out to his daughters to express his love and pride in them. His daughters now reflect on how much his selfless love has impacted their lives. He was also a spiritual man who found great comfort in reciting Bible scripture and his relationship with God, knowing that he would eventually be reunited with Him.
