Hona Jean Gray, 67, passed away December 5, 2023 at her home in Harlan, Kentucky. Hona was born on January 4, 1956 in Clarlksburg, West Virginia to the late Robert and Hona Gray. She was orginally from West Union, West Virginia but moved to Harlan, Kentucky a month ago to spend her final days with her sister and granddaughter. She loved being a grandmother, crafting, and baking. She believed in the Baptist faith. She is survived by her sons, J. P. (Jolie) and Steven Ray; grandchildren, Stacey, Jonathan, Josie, and Jewels; her brothers and sisters, Big Bob (Shirley) Gray, Theresa Holden, Neva (Casey) Dungan, Zula (Jodie) Reighard, William (Darlene) Gray, Lynn (William) Cox, and Willard (Connie) Gray. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives to mourn her passing. In keeping with her wishes, all services will be private. Judy Gail (Cain) Peace, 61 of Harlan, Kentucky passed away on the morning of Sunday December 3, 2023 after a long illness. Judy was born December 12, 1961, to the late Clarence and Mae Cain. She loved spending time with her family, especially her kids and Grandkids any chance she got. She had a wonderful sense of humor and lit up the room with her smile. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Kidd. She is survived by her children, Katina (Josh) Kershaw of Hendersonville, NC, Curtis Peace, Harlan, KY, Jason Peace, Harlan, KY, nine grandchildren, her brothers, Eddie (Julia) Cain, Sharps Chapel, TN, Roger (Brenda) Cain, Rose Hill, VA; her sister, Sue (Albert) Tardy, Brandon, FL; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Tinsley Whitehead Jr, 72, of Bledsoe, KY was born on Monday, April 23, 1951, in Hyde, KY passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, in Hyden, KY. He was retired from McComb Supply Company in Harlan with 28 years of service, and he believed in the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Whitehead; his parents, Tinsley Whitehead and Viona Brock Whitehead. Survivors include his three loving children, Sheri Craycaft and husband Carold of Tazewell, TN, Lonnie Whitehead and wife Lisa of Bledsoe and Tennille Whitehead of Leslie County KY. His grandchildren, Kayloni Epperson and husband Nick, Justin Craycraft and wife Nicole, Lonnie Whitehead Jr and wife Mahalah, Logan Whitehead, Emily Howard, Emma Howard and Elizabeth Napier and husband Hagan. His great grandchildren, Waylon and Wyatt Craycraft, Kylee McCarter, Haven, Amelia, Trevor and Tristin Epperson. His brothers, Lester Whitehead and Ronnie Whithead; his sisters, Omeda Holland, Goldie Simpson, Faye Simpson, Juanita Soto, Patricia Nantz and Shirley Brock. Along with several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday starting at 5PM at the funeral home with funeral services following at 7-PM with the Rev. Larry Toner, Rev. Travis Gross and Rev. Blake Turner officiating. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 1PM at the Craycraft Cemetery in Bledsoe with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Tammie Louise Stallard Farmer, 62 passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday afternoon of November 29, 2023. Tammie was born July 24, 1961 to the late Francis Grant and Audrey Lavonne Stallard. She had previously worked for the Harlan Co. School Board as a Teachers Aide. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Gregory "Apple" Stallard. She is survived by husband of 47 years, Freddie Farmer; her two daughters, Shannon (Bennie) Johnson and Amanda (Casey) Moore; five grandchildren, Logan Johnson, Ashton Johnson-Melton, Bryson Moore, Brevin Moore and Andy Moore; four grandchildren, Alijah, Jaxton, Maverick, Jagger Johnson and baby Rhyse Melton on the way; her sister, Elizabeth Stallard; brothers, James (Dee) Stallard and Doug (Mary Kay) Stallard; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews other relatives to mourn her passing. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Allen. She is survived by her son; Charles "Rod" Allen (Tammy Smith), her daughter; Tonia Allen, grandchildren; Keirsten and Tristen Hollon, one great-granddaughter, and her sisters; Carlene (Bobby Joe) Hensley, Connie Cooper, Sue (Frank) Rodocker, and Debbie (Mark) Tinder. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends to mourn her passing. Terry Leon Fannin, 64 of Harlan, KY passed away suddenly November 17, 2023 at Harlan ARH. Terry was born May 3, 1959 in Cleveland, TN to the late Leon and Geraldine Fannin. He believed in the Holiness faith. He served in the United States Army for 10 years, then worked at T. L. Bayne Factory for 13 years in upholstery. He enjoyed gardening, working in his yard, and video games. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister; Janice Hurley, and his step-father; Lee Morgan. He is survived by his wife; Tammy Gailey Fannin, his daughters; Sarah Leann Fannin and Rachael Lynn Fannin, brother; Bryan (Kelly) Morgan, nephew; Bryan (Dena) Morgan, Jr. , great niece and nephews; Callos, Beau, and Veronica. William Noble Dillman, 69 of Harlan, KY lost his battle to cancer on Friday, November 17, 2023 at his home, with his family by his side. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. To truly know him was to love him. Working was something he loved to do whether it be in the coal mines, construction, or in his later years, working in the yard. He believed in the Church of God faith. The impact he had on everyone's life is something that will be greatly missed but never forgotten. William was born on November 17, 1954 in Smith, KY to the late Henry and Myrtle Dillman. He later became a resident of Harlan County, where he stayed until his passing. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Charles, Willard, Rodney, Bobby, James, and Willis Dillman, sisters; Edith Murphy and Sandra Collins, mother and father-in-law; Rev. Simon and Sharon Jones Sr. , and four sister-in-laws; Aquila, Keturah, Lavonda, Naomi. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years; Tana Jones Dillman, his children; Kyle Dillman, Keaton Dillman, and Myra (Ryan) White, grandchildren; Madison Dillman, Easton White, and Evan White, brother; Ford (Billie) Dillman, sisters; Erma (Eddie) Howard and Glenna (Terry) Pennington, brother-in-laws, Jonathan (Nicki) Jones, Simon (Judy) Jones, and Samuel (Missy) Jones, sister-in-laws; Jessica (Billy) Black, and Rolanda (Lee) Smith, and a long time friend; Green Bailey Middleton. Helen was born in Knoxville, TN to the late Clarence Lee and Marie Crow Lindsay. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She believed in the Baptist faith. Janice Rae Mitchell, age 83 of Morristown, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was a faithful Christian; and a longtime member of Morristown Church of Christ. A veteran of the United States Air Force, she proudly served her country. As a member of the local community, she lovingly volunteered to help others wherever possible. Most of all, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother & grandmother; and beloved friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mitchell; her parents, Robert & Maudie Boyd; siblings, James Boyd & Margie Ladehoff. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children, Dennis (Melissa) Mitchell, Sharyl (Mike Skidmore) Tollin, & Robert (Patricia) Mitchell; grandchildren, Melissa (Cody) Suggs; Alex Adams, Geena (Andy Fetzer) Mitchell, Ginger (Sean) Robitaille; great-grandchildren, River, Harper, Hazel, & Barrett; nephew & nieces, Gary, Cindy, & Debbie; a host of in-laws in Kentucky; dear friend, Dolores; her church family; and many other friends.
