December 9, 2023

Joyce Jeannette Lassnoff, of Philadelphia, PA, entered heaven peacefully on November 22, 2023. She was 66 years old. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Jeannette (Cleary) Karcher and graduate of Lincoln High School. Taken from our lives too soon, Joyce will be remembered as a mother and grandmother who gave of herself wholeheartedly. Her home was always open to share moments with her family and friends over a warm meal or friendly conversation. She never let a holiday or milestone in one's life go by without acknowledgment. . . she loved sending cards with scratch off lottery tickets inside just to brighten someone's day. Joyce had a penchant for detail and was wealth of knowledge. . . she absorbed everything she read and could quote events and dates like none other. She was a passionate Philadelphia Flyers and Miami Dolphins fan, perhaps the latter coming from her deep love of the ocean and dolphins. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, and a sister. She is survived by her loving son, Michael, four grandchildren, her beloved sister, Louise (Florida) and brother, Charles, Jr. (Hatboro, PA).
