Obituary of Ann Rutkowski Ann M. Rutkowski February 12, 2019 Ann M. Rutkowski, 89, of Mountain Top, passed away on Tuesday at Smith Health Care, Mountain Top. Born in Sugar Notch, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Gryskiewicz Michalski. She was a graduate of Sugar Notch High School, class of 1946. Prior to her retirements she was employed by Acme Markets in Mountain Top as a Deli Manager. Ann was an excellent seamstress who made her own clothing and recently did alterations for her fellow residents at Smith Health Care. She also loved to explorer treasures at the yard sales in Mountain Top. She was preceded in death by husband Bernard Rutkowski, June 2007; brother, Stanley Michalski and sister, Helene Klemish. Ann is survived by brother, Joseph Michalski (Beatrice), Tinton Falls, NJ; sister in law Beverly Michalski, Warrenville, IL, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on 11:00 am, Monday, from the Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, Inc. 568 Bennett St. Luzerne with Rev. Chester F. Dudick, Jr., Pastor of Meade Street Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre officiating. Entombment will be in St, Mary's Mausoleum, Hanover Twp. viewing 10:00am to 11:00 am prior to the service.
