Ann Shovlin Drummer, 71, of Middle Paxton Township, passed away Friday June 17, 2022 at her home. Born July 23, 1950, in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late John and Jeanne Shovlin. A chance encounter at The Glass Lounge led Ann to her soulmate and husband of 14 years, Bryan J. Drummer. A graduate of Trinity High School and the Harrisburg Hospital Laboratory Technician program, Ann had been employed as a Laboratory Technician for 42 years at Harrisburg Hospital and Pinnacle Health prior to her retirement. She enjoyed traveling - particularly to Canada and the St. Lawrence Waterway region - and working on puzzles. Ann is survived by her husband, Bryan; daughter, Allison Appleman; stepdaughters, Jessica Weinstock and Jennifer Pridgen; granddaughters, Peyton Lenker, Ada Weinstock, Lillie Drummer and Emma Pridgen; and her brother, John Shovlin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Alarie Hankey. Arrangements for Ann will be private and at the convenience of the family.
