William Weldon Beck 4/29/1948 - 12/6/2023 William (Bill) Weldon Beck quietly ascended to heaven on December 6th at 5:15 pm. Bill was surrounded by his loving wife and family who will miss him terribly but know he is in a better place, free of pain and confusion. Bill was born in Albuquerque, NM on April 29, 1948, to his loving parents Arlis (A. D. ) and Faye Beck. They were thrilled to have finally gotten their little boy. When Bill was 1 year old the family moved to Wichita Falls, TX. Bill attended school and made lifelong friendships that are still going strong today. Bill graduated High School in 1966 from Ryder in Wichita Falls, TX. He attended a couple of colleges and settled at East Texas State where he graduated with a degree in business and a degree in psychology. After college he moved to Houston, where in 1981, he met the love of his life, Paula Allen. They met as competitors. Bill was worried about Paula taking his business because she was so pretty. He was able to fix that in the nicest way - he had her join his company. They could not get married and work together, so Bill stayed at S. P. Richards and Paula moved on to Unified Sales. Both continued in the Office Products Industry. On March 26, 1983, Bill and Paula married in their home in Friendswood surrounded by love of friends and family. Their love story lasted over 40 years. Bill was a special friend to many! He never met a stranger and was loved by all. He and Paula loved traveling, Las Vegas, San Diego, Maui, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Orlando, Los Angeles, and Dallas. Most locations included a great golf course for Bill to try out. Bill also loved being at their Lakehouse in Livingston, TX. He loved fishing and taking family and friends out on the boat. He was happiest entertaining, surrounded by those he loved. Bill and Paula moved to Old Washington, TX, near Bill's friend, Dan Parker. They built the house of their dreams. They both loved the time there with horses, their cat, Kiki and Buddy, their Siberian Husky. In 2004, they moved back to Houston. Bill began his battle with Trigeminal Neuralgia. Bill endured severe pain and several major procedures until October, 2019, which is when he began to show symptoms of Alzheimer's. Bill was especially close with his nephew, Chris (Rachel) Allen, and great nephews, Matthew (Giselle) Allen, Caleb Allen, Logan Allen, and Leia, their Siberian Husky who stayed by his side until the end.
