Angelina Morano (nee Scavone) of West Harrison passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 10, 2023 in her 95th year. Family and friends are invited to Pleasant Manor Funeral Home, Inc. 575 Columbus Avenue - Thornwood, New York 10594 on (date and times to be announced). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Angelina at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison on (date and time to be announced). Angelina will be entombed with her beloved husband Gaetano (deceased 2012) at The Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale following the funeral mass. .

Tug Andrew Jansen, 17 years old of West Harrison, IN passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. The youngest of four brothers, Tug was a kindhearted teenager who loved to spend time with his family and friends. When Tug was younger people often would think that he and his brother David were twins. He was always one of the tallest and biggest kids in his class. He was the person who stood up for those for whom needed to stood up for. He attended Mount Carmel School in Cedar Grove (through fourth grade). He transferred to East Central Middle School (fifth through eighth grade) and onto East Central High School online (9th through 11th). He returned to Franklin County High School (online) for his senior year. Tug enjoyed many different activities such as playing video games, soccer, baseball, basketball, dodgeball, riding motorcycles, swimming, and cooking with friends. He participated in numerous recreational and traveling baseball, soccer, and basketball teams which often included playing with his second cousins. He was a gifted athlete. Many evenings and weekends were spent at the soccer or baseball fields. On family vacations to Gatlinburg, Tug and his brothers loved to go to the Space Needle Arcade, ice skating at Ober Gatlinburg, dodgeball wars on the trampolines at Sevier Air, spend time at Splash Country water park, roller coasters at Dollywood, go kart tracks, bungy jumping, and the infamous sling shot. On snow days, he and his family would head to Perfect North Slopes for a day of tubing. It could be 32 degrees outside, but he would still enjoy an ice cream sandwich by the bonfire. Once he received his driver's license, everyday he would walk across the dam at Brookville Lake or hike on the trails. He also enjoyed walking the inner loop at Miami Whitewater Park in Harrison. Tug will be deeply missed by his parents Traci and Andy Jansen; brothers Luke (Michelle), Logan, and David; great grandfather Clearance Cook; grandparents Diana Sonntag and Terri & David Jansen; aunts and uncles Jodi Lovell, Scott (Abby) McAdams, and Amy Elliott; cousins Natalie & Kaylin Lovell, Travis & Alyssa McAdams, Gage & Audrey Elliott. He was proceeded in death by his great grandparents Marie Cook, Irene and Robert Stacey; and grandfather Robert Sonntag. Daniel Joseph Riehle, age 75, of West Harrison, Indiana and Sioux Narrows, Ontario, died on September 10, 2023. Dan, a man of abiding faith, entered the Kingdom of Heaven from a place he considered "Heaven on Earth", Lake of the Woods. Dan will be dearly missed by his wife Melanie; his children Ann-Marie (Bryan) Ahern, Joseph A. Riehle, Janet (Charles) Hopkins, and Elle (Matt) Sierzputowski. Grandpa Dan, aka GrandPa What's His Name (GPWHN), cherished his grandchildren Vivian and Elizabeth Ahern and Charles and Dorothy Hopkins. He also is survived by his mother Martha LeSaint Riehle (105!); and his four brothers William (Eileen), James (Peggy), Nicholas (Janet) and Gregory (Susanne). He was a special uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dan was a graduate of Purcell High School '66; University of Dayton B. S. '70 and M. S. '72; and Ohio State University M. S. '79. Dan was a born mathematician and began his professional career in the data warehousing area with Cincom Systems and Teradata Corporation. At the age of 50, he adhered to one of his favorite expressions "Every 10 years, there should be a revolution'. He quit his job and started a consulting business focused on metadata solutions, having clients on 5 continents (North America; South America; Australia; Europe; and Asia). As the decades passed and never idle, he engaged in many 'projects' such as a Red Devon cattle operation; rehabbing a vacant house; bull dozing and bush hogging on his ranch property; donating talent to pro-life efforts or completely renovating outbuildings on his island in paradise. He passed away while the construction of a gazebo was in progress, his 8th building on the island. He will be remembered as an intellectual, an outdoorsman, a creative problem solver and a man of wit, kindness, adventure, and brashness. He was a man of personal clarity and adhered to the philosophical ideas of reason, individualism, and libertarianism. His legacy of love and devotion to family will bless each member forever. Dan's guiding prayer in life was "Thy will be done". Services for Dan will be held on Thursday, September 28 at St. Joseph Campus of All Saints Parish, 7536 Church Lane, West Harrison, IN 47060. Visitation will begin at 9:30am at the Parish Life Center and Mass will begin at 11:00am. Immediately following mass there will be a celebration gathering at the Parish Life Center. Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Raible, 85, of West Harrison, Indiana, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at home surrounded by family. Betty was born to Benjamin and Gladys Jacob on February 12, 1938. She married her love of 64 years, Charlie Raible, on June 27, 1959. Together, she and Charlie had four children and made a lifetime of memories which her family will cherish now that she is gone. When she wasn't caring for her family, she found joy in painting and crafting. She had quite the artistic spirit and could create something beautiful out of the simplest objects. She enjoyed sharing her creative passions with her grandchildren and would help them with any 4-H project they brought her way. Along with crafts, she had a knack for cooking. Each holiday was made extra special by her crafty desserts and signature dishes. Her creativity lives on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Charlie. Her four children, Denise Raible, Todd (Neysa) Raible, Rick (Vickie) Raible, and Brian Raible. Her nine grandchildren, Bethany (Joe) Bolser, Kyle (Meg) Harmon, Breanna (Drew) Foster, Cory (Chloe) Harmon, Allison (Brett) Ortman, Bridget Raible, Ashlie (Gino) Francesconi, and Hadyn and Paxton Raible. Eight great-grandchildren. Her sister, Joan (Ken) Gierach and brother, Robert (Linda) Jacob. And finally, her beloved cat, Toby. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Engelke and her great-granddaughter, Abigail. The family will hold a private memorial service in lieu of public services. Raymond Clark, age 69, of West Harrison, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022, at home. He was born on August 22, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a son to William and Geneva Clark. Raymond married his high school sweet heart and love of his life, Karen Calihan. They shared this love for almost 50 years. He was an employee for Genera Electric as a millwright for 30 years retiring in 2013. Raymond was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, going on fishing trips with his friends, taking his family on trips to Dale Hollow Lake, working in his yard, tending to his flowers while watching nature around him. He spent time piddling with his boat, guns, fishing poles and playing cards every month with his card club. He looked forward to Wednesdays to meet up with friends at White's Sale Barn. Raymond's biggest passion was to spend time with his family. Anyone who knew Raymond knew he never had a bad word to say about anyone and he lived by the Golden Rule. He was known to make you laugh and put a smile on your face. Raymond's motto was you have to have faith and believe in The Good Lord Jesus Christ.
