Frederick Leopold Lowe, born on February 12, 1937, in Kingston, Jamaica, migrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1972 and was a long-time resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2023. Frederick, the son of the late, Harry Lowe and Ermine Lowe, was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sharon Elaine Lowe, who he endearingly referred to as 'Doc', and his daughter, Debbie Simone Andrews. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories with his son and daughter in law, Roderick Delano Lowe and wife, Camille Cash Lowe MD, daughter, Karen Marie Lowe; grandchildren, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jones III, Chanci Simone McBride and husband, Andre Lazar McBride, Lauren Shelby Lowe, Gabriella Delane Lowe, Kennedy Camille Lowe, and Christopher Delano Lowe; great-grandson, Lazar Horeb McBride; and son-in-law, Steven Craig Andrews. Surviving siblings with whom he shared fond memories with include, Eleanor (Merl) Rickards, Joan (Judy) Aquart, Elaine (Lanie) Vickers and husband Karl Vickers, Yvonne (Panny) D'Azevedo and husband, Michael D'Azevedo), Faye Decosta, Donna Mullings and husband, Erroll Mullings, and brother, Roger Lowe; Frederick was a cherished uncle to a host of nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Frederick was a graduate of Merl Grove High School, whose career was marked by his entrepreneurial spirit. , starting with Grace Foods in Kingston, Jamaica, and later in transportation after migrating to New York. He was the proud founder of "Spices and Things," a Jamaican wholesale spice haberdashery in Kingston. His entrepreneurial dreams were as grand as his personality. Passionate about fishing, horse racing, and harness racing, Frederick's hobbies reflected his love for life and adventure. He was a complicated, yet intelligent man who found tremendous joy partnering with his bride when playing spades, dominoes and mahjong. Frederick's family extends a heartfelt invitation to friends and loved ones to join us in honoring and commemorating his life. Visitation will be held on December 9, 2023 at 10:00 a. m. with a funeral service to celebrate Frederick's life following at 11:00 a. m. in the Miller Funeral Chapel, 7723 Beechnut Street, Houston, Texas. A repass will be held at 1750 Sky Lark Lane, Hanover Post Oak, 8th Floor from 2:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join them in commemorating his life. Frederick's journey on earth may have ended, but his spirit, love, and memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
