Francis "Jack" John Macauley III

Jul 09, 1934 - Feb 17, 2024

location-icon

Clearwater, FL

Good Friend, Loving Father, PopPop and Great Grand-father,Francis “Jack” John Macauley III, 89, of Clearwater, Florida, went to be in the presence of Our LORD CHRIST JESUS on February 17, 2024.*******Jack was a very happy man during his last three decades of life when I came to know him well. He believed himself to be more than lucky, regularly declaring himself lucky and blessed. Frequently saying, upon reflection, “I have been lucky all my life.” He meant it; he believed it. Jack was a born storyteller, enjoying every opportunity to talk about his favorite bits of family history. He was very proud of his Irish heritage and loved to share stories about it.Talking to people, friends and strangers alike, was one of Jack’s favorite pastimes. Whether walking the length of Clearwater Beach or around the Eastend of St. Thomas, he stopped to talk to everyone he saw as he walked by. Usually, he entertained them while talking about his niece, Erika Robuck, and her latest works of historical fiction. Once, I was able to point out to him that Erika gave a special ‘shout out’ to her Uncle Jack in the acknowledgments section of one of her books. He smiled long and hard at that, again feeling lucky and blessed.Due to his many and varied life experiences, Jack knew a little something about almost everything, and he truly enjoyed sharing his knowledge and experience with all who asked. He derived great satisfaction from helping the people who turned to him. When Jack slowed down due to health and vision concerns, his loving daughter Donna came and showed him great love and joy, taking care of his needs with grace so he was able to transition this world still feeling both lucky and blessed. With love to an amazing spirit,Carol G. HurstSt. Thomas, VI*****Jack was preceded in death by his son, who he loved, Gregory L. Macauley.Jack is survived by his very special Friend, Carol Hurst, and his Children, Grand Children and Great Grand Children.Jack Macauley’s Children,Sharon Tary (Nick Tary)Jackie Francis John Macauley IV (Linda Macauley)DonnaJoy TrioloDeceased Gregory L. His favorite names were Daddy, Dad, PopPop, Uncle Jack, Irish, and Jack. I noticed my Daddy was a loyal friend. His inner circle of forever friends light up when they share their “Jack-Stories”. 100% of the time his friends tell me about how his positive friendly enthusiastic attitude, kindness, listening, showing up and his story telling fun loving way developed into a forever friendship and he helped them on their path. His nephew, Rick, said, Uncle Jack, you are a good and rare man. Uncle Jack you helped me on my path and I am grateful and love you.”I noticed Daddy’s growing faith in GOD softened him over the years. We talked about everything. You know I love JESUS so much. I loved sharing my faith with him, we talked about JESUS often. On October 2022, Jack broke his left elbow and Chaplin Keenan came into his Morton Plant Hospital room. Chaplin Keenan, laughed and connected and talked about the Kingdom of GOD and about JESUS with Daddy. Chaplain Keenan prayed with Jack and me. And that evening, Jack repented and called on the Name of The LORD CHRIST JESUS. GOD is So loving and GOOD, JESUS calls Jack Friend! I love and miss you Daddy. DonnaGOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT blesses and gives me assurance that JESUS calls my Daddy Friend. I know Saturday, GOD Our FATHER welcomed my Daddy into His Kingdom of Love. I believe and know JESUS calls Daddy Friend, because JESUS says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. “ Romans 10:13 – 15. And in John 11: 25-26 JESUS said , I AM the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this? Jack does and I am so glad. ????Jack’s Florida National Cemetery Funeral details: All are welcome: Jack’s going home funeral services and final resting place will be to Worship GOD and remember and celebrate Jack’s home going to His King JESUS CHRIST.Florida National Cemetary 6502 SW 102nd Ave Bushnell, FL 33513 “Francis “Jack” J.
