Gracia Myrtle Danke, 90, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Earlene Howard Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas.Gracia was born on December 11, 1933 in Decatur, Arkansas to parents Vardie and Ruth Taylor. She married the love of her life, Norman Danke, on November 14, 1962, who preceded her in death. Throughout her life, she was a dedicated worker in her family’s business. She loved crocheting, animals, reading, and going for walks. She was also a member of Bethel Heights Assembly of God. What she will be most remembered by is her love for her family.She is survived by one son, Nathan P. Danke of Decatur, AR; three daughters, Alice Setter of Ardmore, OK, Barbara Landrum and husband Ronnie of Siloam Springs, AR, and Patricia Lasure and husband Justin of Nevada, MO; one brother, Marvin Taylor of Enid, OK; and one grandchild, Elizabeth Ann Setter.She is preceded in death by her parents, Vardie and Ruth Taylor; her husband, Norman Danke; and one son, Charles Curtis Danke.A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.Arrangements were entrusted to Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 60 years, Gordon. She is survived by her brother Bruce Parker of Prairie Grove, three sons, Randy and wife Mary of Springdale, Sam of Springdale, and David of Rogers, five grandchildren, Beth, Justin, Spencer, Shelbi, and Nick, and one great grandson, Jordan.A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 9th at 10 a.m. at Faith Assembly of God, 3053 W. Sunset Ave. in Springdale, with Larry Marler officiating.The family would like to thank The Maples for the care they gave Barbara over the past 7 years and the Circle of Life for their services.

Born on March 17, 1963, in Harrison, AR, he was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Orville Robinson and Lena Reddell Robinson, his wife Tammy Robinson, daughter Sabrina Robinson, sister Inavern Robinson, and brother Johnny Robinson. Dwayne found joy in hunting and fishing, and his varied career included roles in garage door repairs, a tire shop, and logging. He is survived by his children David Robinson, Timothy \u0026quot;T.C\u0026quot; South, and Christina South, sisters Doris Cook (Bruce) and Kim Hernandez, eight grandchildren, and his cherished best friend, Donnie Middleton. Also surviving are several nieces, a nephew, several great-nieces, and great-nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, at Mossville Cemetery in the Boxley Valley."

"Sandra Whitney, 79, of Hindsville; passed away Monday, February 12, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale. \u0026nbsp;She was born Saturday, November 4, 1944, in Tarvin, United Kingdom; to Toni Wyatt and Joy Rowland Jones. Sandy was a mother to two children and an alterations manager for Nordstrom Department Store as a talented seamstress who could make anything from a wedding dress to a man\u0027s suit. She married Roger Whitney on May 25, 1987, at Lenexa, Kansas; and had lived in Arkansas her later years. \u0026nbsp;Sandy adored spending time in her garden, meticulously tending to it and eventually winning an award for green thumb. Her heart was deeply rooted in her hometown of Tarvin, England, and the cherished presence of her Nanny and Granddad who resided there. Later in life, she revisited Tarvin and was warmly embraced by the townsfolk who greeted her along the street. Sandy was a lady, polite, dainty, and had an eye for pretty things and a bargain. She found joy in antiquing and using her carefully selected pieces to enhance the beauty of her home. Sandy was an excellent roller-skater, found solace in fishing for trout at Roaring River State Park, cherished moments with her dogs, and savored the music of Elvis and Bob Seger. Later in life, she developed a talent for painting. Above all, she was known for her warmth and affection as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Sandy loved taking walks along country roads, and her daughter, Patti, looks forward to joining her again someday, for one of those wonderful walks in Heaven. \u0026quot;Long live the Queen!\u0026quot; Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her grandson, Tyler Dell, and one sister, Anita Potter. \u0026nbsp;She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Patti Dell, of Hindsville; and Roxanna and Jay Noland, of Lees Summit, Missouri. \u0026nbsp;She is also survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Gus Schoenberg of St. Louis, Missouri; and a niece and a nephew. Marty proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he served as a member the Red Horse 506 Combat Engineers. Marty married Janete Nascimento. In his civilian life, Marty dedicated himself to the noble profession of nursing, offering care and comfort to those in need. A devout member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Marty found solace and community in his faith, cherishing the fellowship of his church family. Marty\u0027s interests spanned across diverse realms. As a 32nd degree Mason, he embraced principles of fraternity and enlightenment, seeking to better himself and his surroundings. Intrigued by the mysteries of the cosmos, Marty lent his expertise to the Seti Institute, passionately delving into the exploration of extraterrestrial intelligence. Marty\u0027s character shone brightly through his acts of kindness and generosity, touching the lives of those around him with his selfless nature and warm demeanor. His Scottish heritage held a special place in his heart, manifested through his skillful renditions of the bagpipes and the banjo, instruments through which he celebrated his ancestry with pride and joy. Marty was preceded in death by his wife, Janete Gillespie, and his parents, Gilbert and Vera Gillespie. He is survived by his twin brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Darlene Gillespie, of Huntsville. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Brashears Funeral Home. In his free time, he liked watching classic Western movies and tending to his garden, where he grew produce and flowers. David was also known for sponsoring numerous softball teams over the years. David was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Burna Hooper; and one brother, Charles Hooper. He is survived by his two sons, Matthew Hooper and James Hooper, both of Huntsville; two grandchildren, Russel Hooper, and Daniell Hooper; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters and brother-in-law, Lynn and James Gibson, of Mayfield; and Donna Phillips, of Springdale; and one brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Julie Hooper, of Huntsville. Also, he will be fondly remembered by his good friends, Charlee and Junie Presley. He worked as a professional land surveyor for Engineering Services Incorporated in Springdale, Arkansas. In the past, he had worked for Crafton Tull Engineering in Rogers, Arkansas; Presley, Brannan, and Assoc. Inc. in Springdale, Arkansas; and Morrison Shipley in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was a well-respected professional among his peers. In addition, he dedicated several years to serving on the Huntsville Planning Commission. Rodney was well-known as a kind, generous, and selfless person. He was an avid and knowledgeable rock collector. He would search diligently in dry creek beds and rock shops for his treasures and shared many of his finds with his friends and grandchildren. No services are scheduled at this time. Shirley had an Associate degree in accounting and spent many years caring for children in her home. Aside from spending time with her family, she enjoyed teaching literacy to adults. Shirley is survived by her son Rick (Brenda) Simmons; daughters Deborah (Barry) Phillips, Sarah Gordon, Diana Simmons, Linda (James) Laughter; daughter-in-law Cynthia Simmons; brother James (Shelley) Tindle; sisters Betty (Dennis) Stastny, and Tammy (Jim) Larson; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends that dearly loved her. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband Floyd Wyman Simmons; children Rebecca Byrd, Randall (Brenda) Simmons, Everett Simmons; son in law Timothy Gordon; siblings Dennis Tindle, Robert Tindle, Donna Osmon, Charles Tindle, Donald Tindle, Harvey Tindle, Fred Palmer, Donald Palmer, Robert Palmer, Dwayne Palmer, Grover Palmer, Marjorie Goracke, and Deloris Thompson.

Spending time with his family was very important to him.Don is survived by his wife, Angela; a son, Joshua Hammons and wife Anna; 3 brothers, Timothy Hammons, Joe Hammons, and Evan Hammons; a sister Lisa; 5 grandchildren, Sawyer, Leah, Connor, Maybree, and Graham; and a host of friends.Don was preceded in death by his parents.
