Andrew Paul Bollheimer, 83 of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Thursday October 5, 2023 at 2:08 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community. He was born July 13, 1940 in Osgood, Ohio, the son of the late Andrew and Agnes (Reed) Bollheimer. Andrew served in the National Guard; he worked for Sheller Globe and then was a salesman for Pepsi Company. Andrew was a member of the NRA; he enjoyed watching NASCAR, baseball especially the Cincinnati Reds, football especially the Cleveland Browns; he was an Avid Ansonia Tigers Football fan; and most of all he enjoyed to spending time with family and friends. Andrew is preceded in death by his parents; his sister and brother in law, Alma and Orville Derr; his sister in law, Donna Bollheimer; and his brother in law, Dale Smith. Andrew is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol (Wilson) Bollheimer, his daughters, Tammy Bollheimer and fiance Mark Wagner, and Cheryl Staley; his grandchildren, Chad and Song Bollheimer, Tiffany Marshal, Brittany Marshal, Tori Penny, and Marcus Marshal; his great grandchildren, Keegan, Elisa, and Ciaran; his brother, Alvin Bollheimer; his sister, Freda Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. The services will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rachel Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Ansonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes that all who attend dress in casual attire or in your favorite sports team attire. Bonita L. Koesters, age 75 of Ansonia, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at her home. Born in Celina, Ohio on March 2, 1948 she was a daughter to the late Robert & Marcella (Lechner) Abels. Bonita was a graduate of Coldwater High School, class of 1966. Bonita went on to work for Superior Silo in Coldwater, Ohio for 25 years as an Office Manager, and was also a wonderful homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed going bowling, reading, playing Chinese checkers and admiring cardinals. Bonita was a kind and caring person who loved her family deeply. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Koesters in 2020: grandson Grant Koesters. Survived by her children Jill & Travis Beam; Tony & Emily Koesters; Ken Koesters: grandchildren Trevor & Makayla Beam; Peyton Beam; Wyatt Beam; Mae Koesters; Joseph Koesters: great-granddaughter Layla Beam: brothers Ron & Gretchen Abels; Wayne & Linda Abels; Mark & Marlene Abels: as well as nieces, nephews and additional family members. Marilyn Grace Whittington Henke, 88, of Bath, Ohio passed away on January 10, 2022 quietly in her sleep surrounded by her sons and daughter-in laws. Marilyn was born on October 25th, 1933 to Herman and Grace Whittington in Ansonia, Ohio. After graduating valedictorian from Ansonia High School in 1951, she studied Home Economics and Elementary Education at Miami University where she met the love of her life, Robert L. Henke. Robert and Marilyn wed in 1955 and were devoted to their four sons, Jeffery, Christopher, Dru (Robert) and Ryan. Marilyn taught elementary school for over 20 years, ending her career teaching as a third grade teacher with Richfield Revere Public Schools. Marilyn loved working with children and supporting their learning, especially the "ornery" ones. Parents and colleagues appreciated her patience and perseverance in figuring out what each child needed to be successful. Even after retirement Marilyn frequently volunteered as a tutor and delighted in sharing gifts and talking with any child she met. Anyone who spent time with Marilyn knew her love of family, her dedication to her faith, and her creative endeavors. Her home was a beautiful place of welcome, tastefully decorated, filled with delicious smells of everyone's favorite foods. Marilyn always gave of herself to make others feel special and loved. Marilyn appreciated wit and enjoyed hearing and telling a good story; her sense of humor and laughter brought people together. Marilyn worshiped and attended service at The Chapel and found fellowship as a volunteer for the care team. She teamed with her husband, Bob, to support and advocate for those with mental illness, through volunteering with NAMI and always being there to help anyone with a need. Charity toward others, crafting, spoiling her dog, and finding good deals at tag sales were lifelong hobbies for Marilyn. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, siblings, her husband Robert, her son Ryan, and her grandson Evan. She is survived by her sons Jeff (Becky), Chris (Sue), Dru (Kathy), her grandchildren Justin, Sarah, Silas, Tristan, Rowan, Eli and Zoe, and her great grandchild Noah, all of whom miss her deeply. Treva Irene (Etter) Burns 88 of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Sunday October 31, 2021 at 9:40 AM at EverHeart Hospice Care Center. She was born August 7, 1933 in Miami County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Andrew and Florence (Fisher) Etter. Treva worked as a Nursing Assistant for 10 years at the Brethren Retirement Community and for 31 years at Wayne Healthcare; she also worked for 10 years at Whiteford Foods in Versailles, Fram, and Rustic Hill Market. She was a member of Oakland Church of the Brethren, a former member of the Swinging 8'S, she loved to crochet and made many afghan's for family and friends, she was always there for family and friends at all times. Treva is preceded in death by her parents; her sister and brother in law: Evelyn and Robert Holfinger; her sister in law: Connie Etter. Treva is survived by her children: Mark and Gloria Burns of Bradford, Neal and Brenda Burns of Ansonia, and Paula and Chris DeVone of Ansonia; her grandchildren: Bruce Burns, Gary and Renee Burns, Jamie and Matt Niswonger, Barbara and Mike Osterloh, Valerie and Keith Kozak, Taisha DeVone, Seth DeVone, and Devan DeVone; 12 great grandchildren; her brother: Ralph Etter of Bradford, and numerous nieces and nephews.
