Andrea Rodriguez Obituary

Andrea "Andy" Rodriguez, 40, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, following a long illness. Andrea was born on April 6, 1983 in Syracuse, NY. Andrea was given many challenges in life from day one, but she never allowed those obstacles to define her or hold her back from doing what she wanted to do. She was a kind and compassionate person who touched so many lives. She left a lasting impression on people even if it was a simple five minute interaction. Hugs were her superpower and she could make anyone feel better with one of her famous bear hugs. She was quick-witted and made people laugh effortlessly. She had a deep love for animals, with horses being her favorite. She loved listening to music and singing completely off key without a care in the world. She is survived by her father, Jose Rodriguez; her mother, Carol (O'Gorman) Rodriguez; her brother, Joseph (Rebecca) Rodriguez; her sister Brieonna Rodriguez; her nieces and nephew Mia, Alivia, Jahsalyn and Trey; as well as her grandmother, Rufina Alvarado; along with many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins. A Celebration of Andrea's Life will be held on June 3, 2023 at Selkirk Shores State Park in Pulaski, NY. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
