Amy Elizabeth Bartsch Kish, 49, of Zanesville passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at her residence related to long-term health problems. She was born on Sunday, September 2, 1973, in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas William Bartsch and Betty Jean Dickman Bartsch. Amy graduated in 1992 from Ames High School in Iowa and from Zane State College in 2002 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She was employed with Ohio District Council Nursing Home in Zanesville right out of college and later worked for several other nursing homes. She enjoyed taking long rides and spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed the conversations she had with her many Facebook friends and loved to play Euchre. In addition to her father, Amy is survived by her husband of almost 22 years, Steve Kish whom she married June 9th, 2001; a son, Joseph Ronald Kish; a sister, Jennifer (Anthony) Santisi; a nephew, AJ Santisi, and two nieces, Nina Santisi and Ava Santisi, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Amy was preceded in death by her mother and three aunts, Sally Laudeman, Suzie Beazel, and Bette Kubic. Visitation will be held 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral service at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home.
